Astrid Holm (born Astrid Vilhelmine Rasmussen; 29 March 1893 – 29 October 1961) was a Danish theater and film actress whose career began on the stage and in the early silent film era. Early life and stage career Born Astrid Vilhelmine Rasmussen in Sønder Bjerge Sogn, Sorø Municipality, Zealand, she was the daughter of hotelier Hans Peter Rasmussen and his wife Maren Sofie Rasmussen (''née'' Larsen). She studied at the Royal Danish Ballet, but left in 1910 to pursue a career as a stage actress. During the World War I years, she performed at Det Ny Teater in the capital city of Copenhagen. During the early 1920s, she was engaged at the Royal Danish Theatre for four seasons by request of theater director Johannes Poulsen. Viggo Elith William Pio (3 July 1887 – 10 February 1983) was a Danish actor of stage, screen, radio and television. He is most noted for starring roles in films such as Carl Theodor Dreyer's '' Leaves from Satan's Book'', Johan Jacobsen's '' Jenny and the Soldier'' and Benjamin Christensen's ''Häxan''. Theatre Elith Pio made his theatre debut in 1907 as a member of the Peter Fjelstrup's theater company. He worked in various theaters in Denmark until 1931, when he was employed by the Royal Danish Theatre. He remained a member of the Royal Theatre until his retirement in 1974. Lilly Jacobson (born June 27, 1988) is a former member of the United States women's national baseball team. Playing career Growing up, she played in the Albany, California Little League (like former US national team member Tamara Holmes). She would also play in the Reno, Nevada Little League, and in the Babe Ruth League. At Wooster High School in Reno, Jacobson played on the men's baseball team. She also earned letters in golf, skiing and basketball. While there, she was one of ten recipients of the Northern Nevada Student-Athletes of the Year Award. After her senior year of high school (2006), she was contacted by Jim Glennie about attending the Western Regional Tryouts for Team USA. Qualifying for the Team USA roster as a relief pitcher, she was converted to designate hitter by manager Julie Croteau.
