Ibou Omar Touray (born 24 December 1994) is a professional association football, footballer who plays as a Defender (association football), left back for club Salford City F.C., Salford City. Isatou Touray
Isatou Touray (born 17 March 1955) is a Gambian politician, activist, and social reformer. A noted campaigner against female genital mutilation (FGM), she became the first female Gambian presidential candidate in 2016, before dropping out to endorse Adama Barrow and Coalition 2016. She then served in Barrow's cabinet, as trade minister, and then as health minister. On 15 March 2019, Touray became Vice-President of The Gambia, replacing her predecessor, Ousainou Darboe in a major cabinet reshuffle. Pa Dembo Touray (born 31 March 1980,), is the goalkeeper coach of Prespa Birlik. He is a former Gambian football goalkeeper and national team player for Gambia. Club career Touray, an English spelling of the name "Touré", began his footballing career with Real de Banjul F.C. in Gambia. In 2000, he moved to Stockholm in Sweden to play for Djurgårdens IF in the highest domestic league, Allsvenskan. Sainey Touray
Sainey "Ballack" Touray (born February 8, 1990 in Serrekunda) is a Gambian footballer who last played for Austin Aztex. Career Club Touray began his professional career with Tallinding United of the Gambian Second Division, where he was the league's youngest forward after joining the team in 2003. In 2005, he moved to First Division side Wallidan, and became one of the club's key players, leading the club to the 2008 Gambian title as the club's top scorer with nine goals. His play at Wallidan and with various Gambian youth national teams sparked the interest of several European clubs, leading to him training in 2007 with Arsenal of the English Premier League. Omar Touray
Omar Alieu Touray (born 5 November 1965) is a Gambian diplomat. He was the Gambia's Permanent Representative to the United Nations from 2007 to 2008 and has been Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs since March 2008. Touray received his B.A. (literature and linguistics) from Ain Shams University in 1987 and graduated with a Ph.D. in international relations at the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva in 1994. He was liaison officer for the World Indigenous Organization at the United Nations Office at Geneva from September 1993 to December 1994. Mandinka People
The Mandinka or Malinke are a West African ethnic group primarily found in southern Mali, the Gambia and eastern Guinea. Numbering about 11 million, they are the largest subgroup of the Mandé peoples and one of the largest ethnic-linguistic groups in Africa.
