Kebba Ceesay
Kebba Ceesay (born 14 November 1987) is a Gambian former footballer who played as a defender. He also holds Swedish nationality. Career Ceesay joined Djurgården from IK Brage at the start of the 2007 season, and made his Allsvenskan debut for Djurgården in the Stockholm derby against Hammarby IF on 13 August 2007. He usually plays as a right back even though he personally considers himself to be a central defender. Ceesay visited English side Notts County for a trial in November 2009, but no transfer was made. Ceesay made his debut for Gambia against Namibia playing with fellow Djurgården player Pa Dembo Touray. With his contract ending after the 2012 season he declared that he wouldn't accept sitting on the bench at Djurgården. Baboucarr Alieu Ceesay (born 1979) is a British actor. He is known for his roles in '' Guerrilla'' and ''Rogue One''. Momodou Ceesay (born 24 December 1988) is a Gambian football striker who last played for Kazakh club Kyzylzhar and the Gambia national football team. He is featured on the Gambian national team in the official 2010 FIFA World Cup video game. Club career Ceesay started his football career playing for his home town club of Kanifing United. Madi Ceesay is a Gambian journalist. He served as president of the Gambia Press Union, and was imprisoned and harassed for his journalistic work. According to the US-based Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ), Ceesay's work has provided critical support for freedom of the press in Gambia, where journalists were frequently imprisoned and attacked. Momodou Ceesay (artist)
Momodou Ceesay (born 1945 in Banjul, Gambia) is an artist and author. Early life Ceesay's early education was in Banjul, followed by scholarships and academic studies at Suffield Academy and Wesleyan University, Connecticut (USA). In 1970, he received a bachelor's degree with majors in languages and literature. He continued his studies in France at the University of Poitiers and La Sorbonne. For his studies of the French language, Ceesay received diplomas from each of these universities. Career After graduation, Ceesay decided to become an artist. Essentially self-taught, he creates acrylics, watercolors, and serigraphs. In his printmaking, Momodou produces small editions by hand, without a mechanized studio. Hassoum Ceesay
Hassoum Ceesay (born 1971) is a Gambian historian, writer and museum curator at the Gambia National Museum. He is one of the most prolific Gambian historians. Life Hassoum Ceesay attended Armitage High School, and Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone. He continued to Canada's Saint Mary's University, in the Nova Scotia capital of Halifax, where he gained a Bachelor of Arts in history in 1999. Ali Ceesay (born 10 October 1992) is a Gambian football defender, who last played for Skonto Rīga in the Latvian Higher League. Jatto Ceesay (born 16 November 1974) is a Gambian former professional footballer who played as a forward. Career Born in Banjul, Ceesay started to play football as a small boy with the Gambian team Wallidan Sens. As a young boy he left to go to the Netherlands. Saffie Lowe Ceesay is a Gambian politician and civil servant who was the Minister of Health and Social Welfare in Adama Barrow's cabinet. Yankuba Ceesay (born June 26, 1984), also known as Maal, is a Gambian footballer (midfielder), who plays in Finnish Kakkonen for Kokkolan Palloveikot.
