The 2004 Tour de France was a stage race, multiple stage bicycle racing, bicycle race held from 3 to 25 July, and the 91st edition of the Tour de France. Lance Edward Armstrong (''né'' Gunderson; born September 18, 1971) is an American former professional road bicycle racing, road racing cyclist.
