Totalfat (stylized as TOTALFAT) is a Japanese melodic punk band formed in 1999. Totalfat consists of vocalist/guitarist Jose (ホセ), vocalist/bassist Shun, and drummer Bunta. Background TOTALFAT started out playing NOFX songs in 2000. Their shows were mainly songs of Ten Foot Pole, Millencolin and Slick Shoes. In 2003, TOTALFAT released their first album entitled '' End of Introduction'', from Japanese independent label Catch All Records. They embarked on a CD release Japan tour which included 41 shows. The first album sold 3,500 copies. In 2004, TOTALFAT released an EP entitled '' Get It Better'' from Catch All Records. Then, they had a CD release tour which included 48 shows around Japan. The EP sold about 3,000 copies. They also play plenty of festivals in Japan, such as Rock in Japan, Punk Spring, and always support Summer Sonic Festival from 2009 to present. Summer Sonic Festival
The , also known as Supersonic, is an annual two- or three-day rock festival held at the same time in Osaka and Chiba, Japan. The majority of the bands playing in Osaka the first day go to Chiba the following day and vice versa. The line-up contains Japanese rock musicians from major and independent record companies, plus international acts. In 2017, the festival was expanded to include Shanghai, China. History Summer Sonic Festival was founded in 2000 in Japan, by Naoki Shimizu, CEO of Tokyp promotions company Creativeman Productions Ltd. Addressing the ever-growing demand for western music, the festival drew established and emerging musical acts of most genres to become, by 2010, Japan's biggest music event. Joe Inoue
is a Japanese-American rock musician signed to Sony Music Entertainment Japan's Ki/oon Records label. Background and career He was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, to two Japanese immigrants. It was not until middle school that he became interested in music and that eventually led him to start his musical career in 2007. He was accepted to UCLA and UC Berkeley but had chosen music. Inoue performs every instrument on his recordings in addition to writing and composing the pieces on his own. He claims to have learned Japanese by reading manga and watching anime. He gained prominence when his song "Closer" was used as the fourth opening theme for '' Naruto: Shippuden''. His fifth single "Kaze no Gotoku" was used as the second theme song for the '' Yorinuki Gin Tama-san'' anime. The bass guitar, electric bass or simply bass (), is the lowest-pitched member of the string family. Singing is the act of creating musical sounds with the voice. A person who sings is called a singer, artist or vocalist (in jazz and/or popular music). Rhythm Guitar
In music performances, rhythm guitar is a technique and role that performs a combination of two functions: to provide all or part of the rhythmic pulse in conjunction with other instruments from the rhythm section (e.g., drum kit, bass guitar); and to provide all or part of the harmony, i.e. the chords from a song's chord progression, where a chord is a group of notes played together.
