Total Drama Action
''Total Drama Action'' (abbreviated ''TDA'') is a Canadian animated television series. It is the second season of ''Total Drama''. The show premiered on Teletoon at 6:30pm ET/ PT on January 11, 2009. This season was also created by the makers of ''6teen'', another Teletoon program. This is the only season for Teletoon not to air a new episode every week. Plot Like ''Total Drama Island'', the previous season of Total Drama, much of ''Total Drama Action'' chronicles the events of the eponymous fictional reality show. The ''Total Drama'' series itself is an "animated reality television series," which stars the cast and crew of the fictional series, parodying many aspects of reality television. After last season's winner forgoes their prize money of C$100,000 (US$73,129.00) for a challenge (open to all 22 of ''Total Drama Island'' contestants) in which the winner would receive C$1,000,000 (US$731,485.00), the money was left in limbo after a situation resulted in a 14-way tie. Christian Potenza
Christian Potenza (born December 23, 1972) is a Canadian actor and comedian. He is best known for voicing Jude Lizowski on ''6teen'' and Chris McLean in the ''Total Drama'' franchise. Career He has been on television since 1997, when he first appeared in the television series '' Riverdale'' as the character Jimmy. His performances include appearing as Doug in the CBC Television hockey comedy series '' The Tournament'', as well as CSA Agent Joel in the 2002 Jackie Chan movie ''The Tuxedo''. Most of Potenza's best-known roles are in television commercials, including a giant yellow toothbrush in the "evil gingivitis" commercials for Listerine, a dog in the Fido commercials "The Office" and "The Promotion", as well as a sunflower in Canadian Kia ads. Total Drama World Tour
''Total Drama World Tour'' (often shortened as ''TDWT'') is the third season of ''Total Drama''. The series' extension was commissioned by Teletoon from the producers, Fresh TV. The season's elements and plot structure is largely based on ''The Amazing Race'', with the semi-final episode being a direct parody of the reality series. In this season, fifteen returning contestants and two new contestants are taken on a trip around the world, and compete in cultural themed challenges of countries they visit. An added twist in this season is that they are required to break spontaneously into song, or else be immediately eliminated. ''6teen'' (originally titled ''The Mall'') is a Canadian animated comedy television series originally produced by Nelvana, with the final two seasons being produced by Fresh TV. It began airing on November 7, 2004 until its final episode aired on February 11, 2010 on Teletoon. In the U.S., the series was first aired on Nickelodeon on December 18, 2005, and was removed from the schedule on May 13, 2006.
