Cookeville, Tennessee
Cookeville is the county seat and largest city of Putnam County, Tennessee, United States. As of the 2020 United States census, its population was reported to be 34,842. It is recognized as one of the country's micropolitan areas, or smaller cities which function as significant regional economic hubs. Of the twenty micropolitan areas in Tennessee, Cookeville is the largest. The Cookeville micropolitan area's 2010 Census population was 106,042. The U.S. Census Bureau ranked the Cookeville micropolitan area as the 7th largest-gaining micropolitan area in the country between 2018 and 2019, with a one-year gain of 1,796 and a 2019 population of 114,272. Mpumalanga
Mpumalanga () is a province of South Africa. The name means "East", or literally "The Place Where the Sun Rises" in the Swazi, Xhosa, Ndebele and Zulu languages. Mpumalanga lies in eastern South Africa, bordering Eswatini and Mozambique. It constitutes 6.5% of South Africa's land area. It shares borders with the South African provinces of Limpopo to the north, Gauteng to the west, the Free State to the southwest, and KwaZulu-Natal to the south. The capital is Mbombela. List Of United States Tornadoes From August To September 2020
This page documents confirmed tornadoes from August to September 2020 via various weather forecast offices of the National Weather Service. Based on the 1991–2010 averaging period, 83 tornadoes occur across the United States throughout August, while 74 occur in September. A significant number of tornadoes in both months came from the tropics. August had 180 tornadoes, which was well above average, with 55 of them coming as a result of Hurricanes Hurricane Isaias, Isaias and Hurricane Laura, Laura. In contrast, September saw only 38 tornadoes, which was well below average, with 23 of them coming from Hurricane Sally and Tropical Storm Beta (2020), Tropical Storm Beta.
