Torn (Battlestar Galactica)
"Torn" is the sixth episode of the third season from the science fiction television series ''Battlestar Galactica''. This episode introduces the concept of a " hybrid", a semi-organic computer which operates the Basestar and is - in a 'very real sense' - to "''be''" the Basestar. Some Cylon models - the number twos (of which Leoben Conoy is), believe the Hybrid to be speaking for the one true god. The Cylons are the main antagonists of the human race in the ''Battlestar Galactica'' science fiction franchise, making appearances in the original 1978 series, the 1980 series, the 2004 re-imagining, and the spin-off prequel series ''Caprica''. In the 1978 series, Cylon is also the name of the reptilian race who created the robot Cylons. The nature and origin of the Cylons differ greatly between the two ''Battlestar Galactica'' continuities. Both series feature Cylon Raiders, Cylon Basestars and Cylon Centurions. "Collaborators" is the fifth episode of the third season from the science fiction television series ''Battlestar Galactica''. This is the first episode of season 3 to include a survivor count, at 41,435, down considerably from the 49,550 shown in "Lay Down Your Burdens" (Part 2). In broadcasting and radio communications, a call sign (also known as a call name or call letters—and historically as a call signal—or abbreviated as a call) is a unique identifier for a transmitter station. A call sign can be formally assigned by a government agency, informally adopted by individuals or organizations, or even cryptographically encoded to disguise a station's identity. Nebula
A nebula ('cloud' or 'fog' in Latin; pl. nebulae, nebulæ or nebulas) is a distinct luminescent part of interstellar medium, which can consist of ionized, neutral or molecular hydrogen and also cosmic dust. Gaius Baltar
Dr. Gaius Baltar is a fictional character in the TV series '' Battlestar Galactica'' played by James Callis, a reimagining of Count Baltar from the 1978 '' Battlestar Galactica'' series. William Adama
William "Bill" Adama ( callsign "Husker") is a fictional character in the re-imagined '' Battlestar Galactica'' television series produced and aired by the SyFy cable network. Ellen Tigh
Ellen Tigh is a fictional character from the re-imagined '' Battlestar Galactica'' series. She is played by the actress Kate Vernon. Overview Ellen Tigh is the wife of Colonel Saul Tigh. At the beginning of the series, he believes she has been killed during the Cylon attack of the Colonies while he was on Galactica.
