Collaborators (Battlestar Galactica)
"Collaborators" is the fifth episode of the third season from the science fiction television series ''Battlestar Galactica''. This is the first episode of season 3 to include a survivor count, at 41,435, down considerably from the 49,550 shown in "Lay Down Your Burdens" (Part 2). Since then, there were undisclosed losses when several civilian ships were destroyed near the end of "Lay Down Your Burdens" (Part 2), while Admiral Adama reveals that "thousands of people" were later stranded on New Caprica during the events of "Exodus". Plot In the absence of Gaius Baltar, Tom Zarek has become President of the Colonies. Knowing that the military will never support him as President, he agrees to stand down in favor of Laura Roslin. He will re-convene the Quorum of Twelve, nominate Roslin as Vice President, and then resign once she is confirmed. Alisen Down (born January 3, 1976) is a Canadian film and television actress. Saul Tigh
Saul Tigh is a fictional character on ''Battlestar Galactica'' played by Michael Hogan. He is one of the main characters of the show. Biography Overview and personality Saul Tigh is a line officer assigned as executive officer on the Galactica. At the opening of the series, he believes himself to be a Colonial Viper pilot, the son of another military pilot and the grandson of a Presidential military advisor, and to be around 70 years old. Memorabilia in his quarters suggest that he flew with a squadron named "Vigilantes". It is revealed during season four of the show Tigh's early memories are artificial, implanted by Brother Cavil when he killed and temporarily boxed Saul and his fellow Final Five Cylons. Laura Roslin is a fictional character in the re-imagined ''Battlestar Galactica'' series, portrayed by Mary McDonnell. She is the President of the Twelve Colonies of Kobol and is one of the primary characters in the show. "Lay Down Your Burdens" is the two-part second-season finale of the reimagined ''Battlestar Galactica'' television series. Part 1 aired originally on the Sci Fi Channel on March 3, 2006; Part 2 aired on March 10, 2006, as a 90-minute special. "Exodus" (parts one and two) are the third and fourth episodes of the third season from the science fiction television series, ''Battlestar Galactica''. Mark Verheiden (born March 26, 1956) is an American television, movie, and comic-book writer. He was a co-executive producer for the television series '' Falling Skies'' for DreamWorks Television and the TNT network.
