Lørenskog
is a Municipalities of Norway, municipality in Akershus in Viken (county), Viken Counties of Norway, county, Norway. A suburb of Oslo, it is part of the Oslo urban area and the Districts of Norway, traditional region of Romerike. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Lørenskog. Lørenskog was separated from the municipality of Skedsmo on 1 January 1908. General information Name The municipality (originally the parish) is named after the old (and no longer existent) ''Leirheimr'' farm. The first element is ''leirr'' which means "clay" and the last element is ''heimr'' which means "Homestead (buildings), homestead" or "farm". Thus: "the farm built on clay ground". Thorleif Andresen
Thorleif Andresen (14 February 1945 – 4 August 2022) was a Norwegian cyclist. Andresen was born in Enebakk on 14 February 1945, and was a younger brother of Ørnulf Andresen. He competed at the 1968, 1972 and the 1976 Summer Olympics. He also won the Norwegian National Road Race Championship in 1969 and 1971. In 1985 he was awarded ''Gullplaketten'' from the Norwegian Cycling Federation, their most prestigious award. Norwegian National Road Race Championships
The Norwegian National Road Race Championships, have been held annually with an event for each category of rider; Men, Women, junior riders & under 23 riders, since 1946. The event also includes the Norwegian National Time Trial Championships and the Norwegian National Criterium Championships. The winners of each event are awarded with a symbolic cycling jersey featuring the Norwegian flag on the chest, which can be worn by the rider at other road racing events in the country to show their status as national champion.
