Tora Vasilescu
Tora Vasilescu (22 March 1951) is a Romanian actress. She was born in Tulcea and went to local School no. 5, and then went on to High School no. 2. She showed talent for acting since she was young and later studied at the Theater Institute in Bucharest. Vasilescu is married to Alain Vrdoljak. Previously she was married to the Romanian actor Ovidiu Moldovan and the Romanian film director Mircea Daneliuc. In 2008 the actress whas chosen by Walt Disney Pictures to provide the Romanian voice of Merrywheater in the animated movie ''Sleeping Beauty''. National Order Of Faithful Service
The National Order of Faithful Service ( ro, Ordinul Național "Serviciul Credincios") is the second highest national order of Romania, with the Order of the Star of Romania being the highest national order. Originally it was established as the Medal of Faithful Service in 1878, during the reign of King Carol I. In 1906, the Cross of Faithful Service was added to the existing medal, as a superior class. During the reign of King Carol II, in 1932, the Order was established with four ranks: grand cross, grand officer, commodore, and officer. Between 1940 and 1948, only the medal was awarded. It was discontinued by the communist authorities in 1948, along with all the other Romanian decorations. It was re-instituted on 31 March 2000, alongside the Cross and Medal of Faithful Service. Mircea Daneliuc (; born 7 April 1943) is a Romanian film director, screenwriter and actor. He has directed 19 films since 1975. In 1993 his film '' The Conjugal Bed'' was entered into the 43rd Berlin International Film Festival. Two years later, his film '' The Snails' Senator'' was entered into the 1995 Cannes Film Festival.
