Top Gun Racing is an American auto racing team that competed in the IndyCar Series entering the #75 Dallara Dallara DW12#Mk. III: Second facelift - Universal Aero Kit (2018–2023), UAK18-Chevrolet Chevrolet Indy V6, Indy V6 on a part-time basis. History 2020 Top Gun announced that they would start to compete in IndyCar in 2020 IndyCar Series, 2020, with Enerson driving the #99 Hagerty (insurance), Hagerty Dallara UAK18-Chevrolet Indy V6 at the 2020 Indianapolis 500, Indianapolis 500. Following the announcement that the race would be held with a limited spectator crowd, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, coronavirus pandemic, Top Gun announced that they would not compete at the 500, as their partners wanted a full capacity event to be involved with. The 2021 GMR Grand Prix was an IndyCar motor race held on May 15, 2021, at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course. It was the 5th round of the 2021 IndyCar Series. The 85-lap race was won by Ed Carpenter Racing's Rinus Veekay, clinching his first win of his Indycar career. IndyCar rookie Romain Grosjean won pole and finished second, his best ever finish in Indycar. Alex Palou finished 3rd for Chip Ganassi Racing. The 2021 XPEL 375 was an IndyCar motor race held on May 2, 2021, at the Texas Motor Speedway. It was the fourth round of the 2021 IndyCar Series. Pato O'Ward of Arrow McLaren SP captured the lead late in the race to score his first career IndyCar series victory.
