Tony Auden
Anthony "Tony" Auden is an Australian meteorologist. He is currently weather presenter on ''Seven News Brisbane''. Career Auden studied a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Meteorology and Mathematics at Monash University which he completed in 2005. He later gained employment with the Bureau of Meteorology and completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Meteorology at the head office in Melbourne. In January 2005, Auden moved to Brisbane and joined the Bureau of Meteorology. He has extensive experience in weather having covered Cyclone Yasi, The Gap's severe thunderstorm in 2008, bushfires, floods, dangerous surf and tide events, dust storms and heat waves. In December 2013, Auden joined ''Seven News Brisbane'' as weather presenter replacing John Schluter. He presented the weather on ''The Daily Edition'' from 2016 until 2020. Monash University
Monash University () is a public research university based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. John Schluter
John Schluter (born 1955) is an Australian journalist and weather presenter. Schluter currently presents a weekly "Flashback" report and is a fill-in weather presenter on ''Seven News'' in Brisbane. Career Nine Network Schluter presented the weather on ''National Nine News'' in Brisbane for nearly 25 years; he ended his affiliation with the Nine Network in September 2006. In the late 1980s, Schluter did voice-over work for Brisbane Ten (TVQ-0/10) but returned to Nine. He was subsequently replaced by weekend weather presenter Joseph May. Seven Network Schluter was later signed by ''Seven News Brisbane'' as a fill-in weather presenter for Talitha Cummins, a position that was later made permanent following high ratings for the then-third rate Seven bulletin. ''The Daily Edition'' was an Australian afternoon entertainment show on the Seven Network which was first broadcast on 17 June 2013 and ended on 26 June 2020. The show featured a combination of live breaking news, as well as live interviews with various personalities and entertainment updates, and aired between 2pm and 3pm on weekdays. History The show premiered on Monday 17 June 2013 and initially aired from 3pm to 4:30pm with hosts Sally Obermeder, Monique Wright and Kris Smith. In its first episode, retired newsreader Ian Ross was the first studio guest of the show and singer Robin Thicke was interviewed in a pre-recorded package.
