Tonio K. (born Vladamir Steven M. Krikorian, July 4, 1950) is an American singer/songwriter who has released eight albums. His songs have been recorded by Al Green, Aaron Neville, Burt Bacharach, Bonnie Raitt, Chicago, Wynonna Judd and Vanessa Williams, among many others. His song, "16 Tons of Monkeys," co-written with guitarist Steve Schiff, was the featured tune in the 1992 Academy Award winning Short Film, '' Session Man''. He worked with Bacharach and hip-hop impresario Dr. Dre on Bacharach's ''At This Time,'' which won the Grammy for Best Pop Instrumental Recording in 2005. Blind Faith
Blind Faith were an English supergroup featuring Steve Winwood, Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker, and Ric Grech. They were eagerly anticipated by the music press following on the success of each of the member's former bands, including Clapton and Baker's former group Cream and Winwood's former group Traffic, but they split after a few months, producing only one album and a three-month long summer tour. The group originated with informal jamming by Clapton and Winwood in early 1969 following the break-ups of Cream and Traffic. Baker joined them in rehearsals and they decided to form a group. Grech joined as the fourth member from the band Family in May, and they began recording their eponymous debut album. Angry Young Men
The "angry young men" were a group of mostly working- and middle-class British playwrights and novelists who became prominent in the 1950s. The group's leading figures included John Osborne and Kingsley Amis; other popular figures included John Braine, Alan Sillitoe, and John Wain. The phrase was originally coined by the Royal Court Theatre's press officer in order to promote Osborne's 1956 play ''Look Back in Anger''. It is thought to be derived from the autobiography of Leslie Paul, founder of the Woodcraft Folk, whose ''Angry Young Man'' was published in 1951. Following the success of the Osborne play, the label "angry young men" was later applied by British media to describe young writers who were characterised by a disillusionment with traditional British society. Full Moon Records
Full Moon Records was an American record label existing from 1974 to 1992. Prominent signed acts included Chicago, Joe Walsh and Dan Fogelberg. Beginning in 1974 with Fogelberg, Full Moon Records was originally a subsidiary "spin-off" label from Epic Records that was created by Irving Azoff. The first album to be released under the label was Fogelberg's second album, ''Souvenirs''. In 1980, distribution moved from CBS to Warner Bros. (movie soundtracks included). Some of the artists affected by the acquisition were Chicago, Grand Funk Railroad, and Johnny Lee. The company was absorbed by Warner Bros. in 1992. The only exception was Fogelberg, whose Full Moon recordings bore the Full Moon logo and were distributed by Epic throughout. Graham William Nash (born 2 February 1942) is an English musician, singer, songwriter, photographer, and activist. He is known for his light tenor voice and for his contributions as a member of the Hollies and the supergroups Crosby, Stills & Nash and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. Bob Montgomery (May 12, 1937 – December 4, 2014) was an American singer, songwriter, record producer and publisher. Biography Montgomery was born in Lampasas, Texas, United States. He was a songwriting partner and best friend of Buddy Holly, performing together as the duo "Buddy and Bob" while teenagers in high school. Initially, they played a variety of bluegrass music, which evolved into rockabilly sounds. Montgomery met Holly at Hutchinson Junior High School in Lubbock, Texas, in 1949. Eric Patrick Clapton (born 1945) is an English rock and blues guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He is often regarded as one of the most successful and influential guitarists in rock music.
