Tone Lise Moberg
Tone Lise Moberg (born 1 April 1970 in Os, Hordaland, Norway) is a Norwegian singer and song teacher. Biography Moberg acquired jazz by writing songs at the piano and doing her own versions of jazz standards. She studied jazz at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, formed several bands, and performed on jazzfestivals and jazzclubs in Norway. She also lived and performed in England for many years as song student of the Leeds City College. She was based in Trondheim for some years while attending the Jazz program at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), before settling down in Bergen. Here she studied at the Grieg Academy. Her debut solo album ''Looking On'' (2006) was recorded with drummer Stein Inge Brækhus, bassist Torbjørn Hillersøy, keyboarder Eivind Austad, and trumpeter Snorre Farstad. Os, Hordaland
Os is a former municipality in the old Hordaland county, Norway. It was located in the Midhordland region, just south of Norway's second-largest city, Bergen. Due to its proximity to Bergen, Os experienced strong population growth. The administrative centre (and commercial centre) of Os was the village of Osøyro. It is the largest settlement in the municipality, with over 60% of the municipal residents living here. Other large villages in Os included Hagavik, Halhjem, Søfteland, Søre Øyane, and Søvik. On 1 January 2020, the municipality became part of Bjørnafjorden Municipality in Vestland county. It is one of the oldest and biggest independent record companies in Norway today. Unge Frustrerte Menn was a rock band from Bergen, Norway. The band formed in 1991 and broke up in 2002. Their debut album, ''Slanger og Snegler'', was released in 1991. Their last album, ''Solen Titter Frem – De Beste Sangene'' (2002), was a compilation album. Despite its break up, and the fact that the band has not released any new material since 2002, it reunites every year to host the traditional Christmas concert 2nd Christmdayas . Jazz is a music genre that originated in the African-American communities of New Orleans, Louisiana in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, with its roots in blues and ragtime.
