Tommy Robinson (footballer)
Thomas Edward Robinson (11 February 1909 – 25 March 1982) was an English professional footballer who scored 37 goals in 121 appearances in the Football League playing mainly as an inside left for Birmingham, Blackpool, Chesterfield, Lincoln City, Northampton Town, Gillingham and Walsall. Life and career Thomas Edward Robinson was born on 11 February 1909 in Coalville, Leicestershire. He was the second son of Ernest Robinson, a coal miner, and his wife Gertrude Martha. He played local football for Coalville YMCA, Ibstock Town and Leicestershire Senior League club Whitwick Imperial before joining Loughborough Corinthians of the Midland League ahead of the 1927–28 season. He moved on to Gresley Rovers of the Birmingham Combination in March 1928, scored four goals on debut in a 10–0 win, and, after a trial in which he and Gresley team-mate George Haywood played for Birmingham's Combination side, both signed professional forms for the Football League First Division ... Tommy Robinson (activist)
Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon (born 27 November 1982), better known as Tommy Robinson, is a British far-right, Islamophobic activist, and convicted criminal on multiple counts of violence and fraud as well as other crimes. He is the co-founder and former leader of the English Defence League, and later served as a political advisor to former UKIP leader Gerard Batten. Robinson has been active in far-right politics for many years. He was a member of the neo-fascist and white nationalist British National Party (BNP) from 2004 to 2005. For a short time in 2012, he was joint vice-chairman of the British Freedom Party (BFP). Robinson led the EDL from 2009 until 8 October 2013. He continued as an activist, and in 2015 became involved with the development of Pegida UK, a now defunct British chapter of the German-based far-right organisation Pegida. Tommy Robinson (hooligan)
The MIGs (Men In Gear) are a football hooligan "firm" associated with the English football club Luton Town, which was originally formed in the 1980s. Background The MIGs formed around 1982, taking over from the " bovver boy" skinhead type hooligans of the 1970s, wearing designer clothes and trainers (hence Men In Gear) and became highly organised. Also, for the first time, becoming multi-racial and integrated from the various estates in the town, some received banning orders or prison sentences. They have had rivalries with firms from Watford and Queens Park Rangers. The events on 13 March 1985 when Millwall visited Kenilworth Road to play Luton Town in an FA Cup quarter final match, whilst not instigated by the MIGs had an effect on future matches between the two clubs. ''Jonny Briggs'' is a Children's BBC kitchen sink realism television programme first broadcast in 1985. It revolves around the exploits of a young boy, the eponymous hero (played by Richard Holian), his pet dog, Razzle, and his eccentric family members: Mam (Jane Lowe) and Dad (Leslie Schofield), older sister Rita (Sue Devaney) and older brothers Albert (Tommy Robinson) and Humph (Humphrey) (Jeremy Austin). Tommy Robison is a former player in the National Football League. Biography Robison was born Tommy Levell Robison, Jr. on November 17, 1961 in Merkel, Texas. Career Robison was drafted by the Cleveland Browns from the Houston Gamblers in the second round of the 1984 NFL Supplemental Draft of USFL and CFL players.
