''International Rally Championship'' (released on PlayStation as '' Tommi Mäkinen Rally'' in UK) is a rally racing video game which is a part of the '' Rally Championship'' series. The Windows version was developed by Magnetic Fields and published by Europress, and released on 30 June 1997. The PlayStation version was solely ported and published by Europress. It is a sequel to the '' Network Q RAC Rally Championship''. It would in turn be succeeded in 1999 by '' Mobil 1 Rally Championship''. Gameplay It offers 16 new tracks set in various locations around the world and new features, such as Track Editor and playable up to 8 players via LAN. Magnetic Fields (video Game Developer)
Magnetic Fields was a British game development company founded in February 1982 and best known for developers Shaun Southern and Andrew Morris. The company was originally named "Mr Chip Software" but renamed "Magnetic Fields (Software Design) Ltd." usually simply referred to as "Magnetic Fields", in 1988. In 1984 they ceased publishing games themselves and instead developed for Publishers Mastertronic and then later for Alternative Software, Gremlin Graphics and other publishers. Mitsubishi Lancer
The Mitsubishi Lancer is an automobile produced by the Japanese manufacturer Mitsubishi Motors since 1973. The Lancer has been marketed as the Colt Lancer, Dodge Colt, Plymouth Colt, Chrysler Valiant Lancer, Chrysler Lancer, Eagle Summit, Hindustan Lancer, Soueast Lioncel, and Mitsubishi Mirage in various countries at different times, and has been sold as the Mitsubishi Galant Fortis in Japan since 2007. GameRankings was a video gaming review aggregator that was founded in 1999 and owned by CBS Interactive. It indexed over 315,000 articles relating to more than 14,500 video games. GameRankings was discontinued in December 2019, with its staff being merged with the similar aggregator Metacritic. Rankings GameRankings collected and linked to (but did not host) reviews from other websites and magazines and averages specific ones. While hundreds of reviews may get listed, only the ones that GameRankings deemed notable were used for the average. Scores were culled from numerous American and European sources.
