Tom Spezialy
Tom Spezialy is an American television producer, director and screen writer. In 2007, began serving as executive producer of ''Reaper''. Career Spezialy began his career in 1989 writing for the CBS television series '' Doctor Doctor''. He has also written and produced for ''Parker Lewis Can't Lose'', '' Weird Science'', ''The District'', ''That Was Then'', '' Jack & Jill'', '' Ed'', and ''Dead Like Me''. He has directed a few numbers of television series such as ''Reaper'' and '' Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show''. During the 2004–2005 television season, Spezialy became known as executive producer and writer for ''Desperate Housewives'', one of the season's best received premieres. Following the criticized second season of the show, "creative differences" arose between Spezialy and the series creator, Marc Cherry, and in May 2006 Spezialy announced that he was leaving the crew of ''Desperate Housewives''. A television producer is a person who oversees one or more aspects of video production on a television show, television program. Some producers take more of an executive role, in that they conceive new programs and pitch them to the television networks, but upon acceptance they focus on business matters, such as budgets and contracts. Other producers are more involved with the day-to-day workings, participating in activities such as screenwriting, Scenic design, set design, Casting (performing arts), casting, and directing. Marc Cherry
Marc Cherry (born March 23, 1962) is an American television writer and producer. He is best known for creating the ABC dramedy series ''Desperate Housewives''. Personal life Early life Marc Cherry was born in Long Beach and lived briefly in Oklahoma. His father was an accountant which required the family to relocate to California. After graduating from Troy High School in Fullerton, California, Cherry attended California State University, Fullerton. He graduated from the school’s theater program in 1995 and initially considered a career in performance. After winning $15,000 as a contestant on ''The $100,000 Pyramid'' in 1986, he decided to move to Hollywood and pursue writing work. Sony's Spider-Man Universe (SSU) is an American media franchise and shared universe centered on a series of superhero films produced by Columbia Pictures in association with Marvel Entertainment.
