Tom Morgan (artist)
Tom Morgan (born October 21) is an American comic book artist known primarily for his work on Marvel Comics' ''Captain America'', '' The Punisher 2099'', ''Excalibur'' and ''Iron Man''. Career Morgan broke into the industry in the early 1980s and worked on a large number of Marvel titles, mostly as a fill-in artist, for such books as ''Captain America'', ''Star Brand'', ''West Coast Avengers'', ''Star Trek'', and ''Power Pack''. In the mid-1990s, he worked on ''Punisher 2099'' and ''Iron Man'' for Marvel; and ''Extreme Justice'' and both the ''Action Comics'' and '' The Adventures of Superman'' titles for DC Comics. In November 1995, ReganBooks released ''Miss America'', the second book by radio and media personality Howard Stern, which includes a five-page comic book story, written and drawn by Morgan. ''Captain America'' is the name of several comic book titles featuring the character Captain America and published by Marvel Comics, beginning with the original ''Captain America'' comic book series which debuted in 1968. Publication history Captain America was starring in the title ''Tales of Suspense'', which was retitled ''Captain America'' with issue #100 (April 1968). The new title ''Captain America'' continued to feature artwork by Jack Kirby, as well as a short run by Jim Steranko, and work by many of the industry's top artists and writers. It was called ''Captain America and the Falcon'' from #134 (Feb. 1971) to #222 (June 1978), although the Falcon's name was not on the cover for issues #193, 200, and 216. Miss America (book)
''Miss America'' is the second book by American radio personality Howard Stern. It was released on November 7, 1995 by ReganBooks and written in collaboration with Larry "Ratso" Sloman and edited by Judith Regan. In August 1995, Stern announced his deal with ReganBooks to write a follow-up to his first '' Private Parts'' (1993), which had become a nationwide commercial success. Stern wrote the book in the summer of 1995, and covers a variety of topics such as his experiences with obsessive-compulsive disorder, on-air rivalries with other radio personalities, and a private meeting with Michael Jackson in an attempt to revive the singer's career. ''The Punisher 2099'' is a comic book series following the account of Jake Gallows (the Punisher) in the year 2099 in an alternate Marvel Universe. The majority of the issues were written by Pat Mills and Tony Skinner, with art by Tom Morgan. The rest were written by Chuck Dixon. The series ran from February 1993 through November 1995 with a total of 34 issues. Howard Allan Stern (born January 12, 1954) is an American radio and television personality, comedian, and author. He is best known for his radio show, ''The Howard Stern Show'', which gained popularity when it was nationally syndicated on terrestrial radio from 1986 to 2005. Fartman (Howard Stern)
Fartman is a fictional superhero, popularized and portrayed by American radio "shock jock" Howard Stern. The character first appeared in an issue of the ''National Lampoon'' humor magazine in the late 1970s (Vol. 2, No. 11, June, 1979, Page 28). A recorded version of the character also appeared on ''National Lampoon's White Album'' in 1979. Stern began using the character on ''The Howard Stern Show'' in the early 1980s.
