Tom McKibbin (golfer)
Tom McKibbin (born 19 December 2002) is a Northern Irish professional golfer who currently plays on the European Tour, where he has won once. He grew up playing golf at Holywood Golf Club, the same home club as Rory McIlroy. Amateur career In January 2020, McKibbin made it to the final of the Australian Amateur at Royal Queensland. However, he was defeated 5 and 3 by Jediah Morgan. Professional career McKibbin turned professional in April 2021 at the age of 18. He made his professional debut at the Tenerife Open on the European Tour where he missed the cut. McKibbin won his first professional event in January 2022 on the Minor League Golf Tour in Florida. He spent most of 2022 playing on the Challenge Tour. He was in contention to win at the Bain's Whisky Cape Town Open in February. A final-round 73 saw him miss out and finish tied-for-third. 2023 European Tour
The 2023 European Tour, titled as the 2023 DP World Tour for sponsorship reasons, is the 52nd season of golf tournaments since the European Tour officially began in 1972. It is the second season of the tour under a title sponsorship agreement with DP World, that was announced in November 2021. The Jacques Léglise Trophy is an annual amateur boys' team golf competition between Great Britain & Ireland and the Continent of Europe. It was first played in 1977, as a one-day match before the Boys Amateur Championship, but since 1996 it has been played as a separate two-day match. The European Boys' Team Championship (Jean-Louis Dupont Trophy) is a European amateur team golf championship for men up to 18 organized by the European Golf Association. Eric J. Cole (born June 12, 1988) is an American professional golfer from Delray Beach, Florida who currently plays on the PGA Tour. His parents Bobby Cole and Laura Baugh were both professional golfers. Early life and amateur career Cole was born in 1988, the year after his parents remarried, two years after their divorce, as one of seven siblings. With both parents being tour golfers, Cole grew up on golf courses and started playing seriously at age 11. He never had other coaches than his parents. At age 14, while playing high school golf, Cole became a friend of Sam Saunders, the grandson of Arnold Palmer. Marcel Siem (born 15 July 1980) is a German professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. Career Siem was born in Mettmann. He turned professional in 2000 and came through Qualifying School to join the European Tour in 2002. He was again successful at Qualifying School in 2002. His first win on the European Tour came at the 2004 Dunhill Championship. Siem then had to wait eight years before picking up his second win in 2012 at the Alstom Open de France. Maximilian Kieffer (born 25 June 1990) is a German professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. Career Kieffer was born in Bergisch Gladbach. He played most of his golf at Hubbelrath Golf Club in Düsseldorf, the same club as Martin Kaymer. Julien Guerrier (born 1 July 1985) is a French professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. He won the 2006 Amateur Championship. Amateur career Guerrier was born in Évreux.
