Tom Davis (British Actor)
Tom Davis (born 27 April 1979) is an English actor and comedian best known for his role as DI Sleet in the BBC Three comedy '' Murder in Successville'', and as Gary King (Jr) in the BBC sitcom ''King Gary''. Career Before television, Davis worked as a scaffolder, bouncer, market stall trader and a stand-up comedian. When his friend was working as a runner on '' Bo' Selecta,'' they gave some videos of their own comedy sketches to Leigh Francis, who then invited Davis to appear on the show. He appeared in various comedy roles on TV over the following years. In 2015 he co-created and starred in '' Murder in Successville''. Croydon is a large town in south London, England, south of Charing Cross. Part of the London Borough of Croydon, a local government district of Greater London. The Comic Strip are a group of British comedians who came to prominence in the 1980s. They are known for their television series ''The Comic Strip Presents...'', which was labelled as a pioneering example of the alternative comedy scene. ''The Morgana Show'' is a British television sketch comedy written by Morgana Robinson and James de Frond. Robinson starred in almost all of the show's sketches, which feature a wide range of original character creations and celebrity impressions. ''The Morgana Show'' aired on Channel 4. Paul King (born 1978) is a British writer and director. He works in television, film and theatre, and specialises in comedy. His work on the family comedy films ''Paddington'' (2014) and its 2017 sequel both earned him BAFTA nominations for Best British Film and Best Adapted Screenplay. Career King graduated from St Catharine's College, Cambridge with first-class honours in English in 1999.
