Tom Dalgliesh
Tom Dalgliesh is the owner of Columbia Games and a designer of many wargames and fantasy role-playing materials. Biography Dalgliesh began his career playing poker as a midshipman in the British Merchant Navy, then emigrated to Canada in 1967. In 1972, Dalgliesh, Steve Brewster, and Lance Gutteridge formed a new gaming company called Gamma Two Games, which became Columbia Games in 1982. Brewster soon left and Gutteridge departed in the mid-1980s, leaving the company in the hands of Dalgliesh. Dalgliesh's designs, starting with Quebec 1759, include War of 1812, Napoleon, Slapshot, Klondike, Smoker's Wild, Bobby Lee, Sam Grant, Dixie, Eagles Eagle is the common name for many large birds of prey of the family Accipitridae. Craig Besinque
Craig Besinque (born 1946) is a wargame designer from British Columbia, Canada, who grew up in Arcadia, California. Most of his games are block wargames which have World War II as a theme. In 1991, his game '' East Front'', co-designed with Tom Dalgliesh, won the Charles S. Roberts Award for Best World War Two Game, a James F. Dunnigan Award for playability and design, and the Origins Award for best Modern-era wargame. His game Triumph & Tragedy was the runner-up for the best 2015 Golden Geek Wargame. Flying Buffalo Inc. (FBI) is a game company with a line of role playing games, card games, and other gaming materials. The company's founder, Rick Loomis, began game publishing with ''Nuclear Destruction'', a play-by-mail game which started the professional PBM industry in the United States. Loomis added games and players while introducing Play-by-mail game#Computer versus human moderated, computer moderation and soon incorporated into the company Flying Buffalo Inc.
