Tom Ball (singer)
Tom Ball (born 1998) is an English singer who rose to fame after competing in the Britain's Got Talent (series 15), 2022 series of ''Britain's Got Talent'' and ''America's Got Talent: All-Stars, America's Got Talent: All Stars''. Early life Ball worked as a secondary school teacher in Burgess Hill, West Sussex. Career ''Got Talent'' shows On 17 April 2022, Ball auditioned for the Britain's Got Talent (series 15), 2022 series of ''Britain's Got Talent'' in front of judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon. His rendition of Sam Smith's song "Writing's on the Wall (Sam Smith song), Writing's on the Wall" received standing ovation from the crowd and the judges. In the third semi-final on 1 June 2022, he sang Conchita Wurst's "Rise Like a Phoenix". The fifteenth series of British talent competition programme ''Britain's Got Talent'' was broadcast on ITV (TV network), ITV, from 16 April 2022 to 5 June 2022. Filming of the series was originally planned for 2021, but with the COVID-19 pandemic in the United Kingdom having led to strict government restrictions on television production, many of the production team, including Simon Cowell, felt it would be wiser to postpone filming until conditions improved. Filming eventually began in January 2022, with Cowell making his return as a judge for the programme following his accident during the previous series. Simon & Garfunkel were an American folk rock duo consisting of the singer-songwriter Paul Simon and the singer Art Garfunkel. Queen are a British rock band formed in London in 1970 by Freddie Mercury (lead vocals, piano), Brian May (guitar, vocals) and Roger Taylor (Queen drummer), Roger Taylor (drums, vocals), later joined by John Deacon (bass). "Creep" is the debut single by the English rock band Radiohead, released on 21 September 1992. It appeared on their debut studio album, ''Pablo Honey'' (1993).
