Toi Fitzgerald Cook (born December 3, 1964) is a former professional American football player who was selected by the New Orleans Saints in the eighth round of the 1987 NFL Draft. A 5'11", . defensive back from Stanford University, he played in 11 NFL seasons from 1987 to 1997. In 1992, he had a career-high six interceptions for 90 yards and one touchdown for the Saints. He appeared in Super Bowl XXIX for the victorious San Francisco 49ers, and had an interception in the game. Before his NFL career, he was an outfielder, and the leadoff hitter, on Stanford's 1987 College World Series national champion baseball team. Toi Derricotte (pronounced ''DARE-ah-cot'' ) (born April 12, 1941) is an American poet. She is the author of six poetry collections and a literary memoir. She has won numerous literary awards, including the 2020 Frost Medal for distinguished lifetime achievement in poetry awarded by the Poetry Society of America, and the 2021 Wallace Stevens Award, sponsored by the Academy of American Poets. From 2012–2017, Derricotte served as a Chancellor of the Academy of American Poets. She is currently a professor emerita in writing at the University of Pittsburgh . Toi Hutchinson (born May 20, 1973) is an American politician who served as a member of the Illinois Senate from 2009 to 2019, representing the 40th District. The 40th district includes all or parts of Bradley, Bourbonnais, Chicago Heights, Flossmoor, Homewood, Hopkins Park, Kankakee, Olympia Fields, Peotone and University Park. Prior to her service in the Illinois Senate, Hutchinson was City Clerk for the Village of Olympia Fields, Illinois. Toi Inagawa (稲川 土肥 ''Inagawa Toi''; 1940 – May 29, 2005), a.k.a. Yuko Inagawa (稲川 裕紘 ''Inagawa Yuko''), was ''kaicho'' (Godfather) of the Inagawa-kai yakuza gang in Japan from 1990 until 2005. He was also 2nd ''socho'' of the Inagawa-ikka. Inagawa was the son of Kakuji Inagawa, the gang's founder. In 1990, he took over from Susumu Ishii to become the Inagawa-kai's third ''kaicho''. Toi Inagawa died in May 2005. As of October 2005, a clear successor has not emerged, but Inagawa's son Hideki Inagawa is a common masculine Japanese given name. Toi Te Rito Maihi
Toi Te Rito Maihi (1937 - 10 December 2022) was a New Zealand weaver, printmaker, painter, educator and writer. She belonged to Ngāti Ipu, Ngāi Te Apata o Ngāti Kahungunu, Ngāti Hao o Taitokerau and the Bland Family of Yorkshire. Maihi recounted the story of how she learned to weave. She was the only Māori foundation member of the committee of the Ngaruawahia Weaving Hui who was not known as a weaver, and so was generally assigned administrative tasks. Eva Anderson noticed Maihi's frustration and when a weaver had to leave the hui and abandon her partially-completed whakairo kete, it was Anderson who invited Maihi to finish it. Late at night when she was still weaving, Eddie Maxwell showed her how to finish it and sat with her until her first whakairo kete was completed.
