"Toes" is a song recorded by Canadian singer-songwriter Lights for her second studio album, ''Siberia'' (2011). The song made its radio premiere on 104.5 CHUM-FM on August 5, 2011 and was released digitally on August 16, 2011 as the official lead single for the album. Lights Poxleitner-Bokan (born Valerie Anne Poxleitner; April 11, 1987), known mononymously as Lights (previously stylized as LIGHTS), is a Canadian musician, singer, and songwriter. She is known for singles "Drive My Soul", "February Air", "Ice", "Second Go", "Toes", "My Boots" and "Up We Go", which have charted within the top ninety on the Canadian Hot 100. Dan Parry is a British Mix/Recording engineer. His career began in 2001 working at Soul II Soul Studios in Camden Town, before joining Metropolis studios in 2004. Progressing through the ranks at Metropolis Studios Parry eventually became full-time assistant engineer to Mix Engineer, Tom Elmhirst who was based at Metropolis at the time. Parry spent the next five years assisting Elmhirst on artists such as Amy Winehouse, Adele, and Mark Ronson. In 2010 Lady Gaga's ''The Fame Monster'' LP was nominated for a Grammy Award for Album of the Year.
