Jeffrey Todd Grantham (born September 13, 1966) is an American football coach who is currently a defensive analyst at Alabama, and he previously served as defensive coordinator at the University of Florida. He was hired on November 29, 2017 and relieved of his position on November 7, 2021. Early life and education Grantham was born in Pulaski, Virginia and attended nearby Virginia Tech from 1984 to 1988. where he played for coach Frank Beamer in his first season as head coach. He graduated from Virginia Tech in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Management. Grantham earned All-American honors his senior year at tackle. Marcus Coleman (born May 24, 1974) is a former American football defensive back in the National Football League (NFL) for the New York Jets, Houston Texans and the Dallas Cowboys. Harry James Sharper Jr. (born November 23, 1974) is a former American football linebacker and coach who is currently the Linebackers coach for the DC Defenders of the XFL. Ernest Dominic Capers (born August 7, 1950) is an American football coach who is a senior defensive assistant for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). He was previously the inaugural head coach of the Carolina Panthers and the Houston Texans for four seasons each. Capers is the only head coach to lead two different NFL expansion teams during their first seasons.
