Tirupati Airport is a domestic airport serving Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. It is situated in Renigunta, a suburb of Tirupati. It is away from National Highway 71 (previously NH-205), from Tirupati and from Venkateswara Temple, Tirumala. History Tirupati Airport was commissioned in 1971. Renigunta is a neighbourhood and suburb of Tirupati located in Tirupati district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Tirupati Airport is located in Renigunta. Madurai Airport is a customs airport serving Madurai and its adjoining districts in Tamil Nadu, India. It is the 36th busiest airport in India, both in terms of passengers handled and aircraft movement. The airport is located near State Highway 37, about south of the city centre. Kolhapur Airport , also known as Chhatrapati Rajaram Maharaj Airport is a regional airport in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India. It is situated at Ujlaiwadi, 9 km South-East from Kolhapur. It is operated by the Airports Authority of India (AAI). Future developments Kolhapur airport is undergoing a major upgrade, making it capable of handling Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 aircraft.
