Tiny Hoekstra
Tiny Hoekstra (born 15 September 1996) is a Dutch women's footballer, who plays for Ajax. She previously played for Heerenveen between 2012 and 2021, and was the top scorer in the 2018–19 Eredivisie. Hoekstra has played for the Netherlands under-17, under-19 and under-21 teams. Club career Hoekstra made her senior club debut for Heerenveen in the 2012–13 BeNe League, and scored on her home debut against FC Utrecht. In October 2018 Hoekstra was prevented from doing a post-match interview in Frisian, and told that all interviews must be done in Dutch. In April 2019, she scored six goals in a match against Achilles '29; Heerenveen won the match 12–0. She was the top scorer in the 2018–19 Eredivisie with 27 goals. In May 2020, she signed a one-year contract extension with Heerenveen. Rinsumageast
Rinsumageast ( nl, Rinsumageest) is a village in the Dantumadiel municipality of Friesland, the Netherlands. It had a population of around 965 in 2017. The village is locally called ''De Geest'' (Dutch) or ''De Geast''Gildemacher, Karel F. (2007). Friese plaatsnamen: alle steden, dorpen en gehuchten. Leeuwarden, Friese Pers/Noordboek (in Dutch) (West Frisian). History The modern village of Rinsumageast has its origins on the sand ridge in the northwestern edge of the Dokkumer Wouden. 2020–21 Eredivisie (women)
The 2020–21 Eredivisie Vrouwen is the eleventh season of the Netherlands women's professional football league. Twente started the season as defending champions. Format At the regular season, the eight teams play each other twice (once at home and once away), for a total of 14 matches each. After that the top four teams qualify for a championship play-off and the bottom four teams play a placement play-off. In each play-off, teams played each other twice for a total of 6 matches each. Points accumulated at the regular season are halved and added to the points of the play-off stage rounds. The Eredivisie (; ''"Honour Division"'' or ''"Premier Division"'') is the highest level of professional football in the Netherlands. Netherlands Women's National Football Team
The Netherlands women's national football team ( nl, Nederlands vrouwenvoetbalelftal) is directed by the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB), which is a member of UEFA and FIFA. In 1971, the team played the first women's international football match recognized by FIFA against France. They played at the final tournament of the UEFA Women's Championship three times and were champions in 2017 as hosts. They qualified for the World Cup twice, reaching the final of the 2019 edition of the World Cup, losing 2–0 against the United States. The result of the 2019 World Cup meant that the Netherlands team qualified for 2020 Olympics where they lost in the quarter-finals. 2015 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship Qualification
The 2015 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship qualifying competition was a women's under-19 football competition played in 2014 and 2015 to determine the seven teams joining Israel, who qualified automatically as hosts, in the 2015 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship final tournament. A total of 47 UEFA member national teams entered the qualifying competition. The final tournament also acted as the UEFA qualifier for the 2016 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Papua New Guinea, with the four semi-finalists qualifying. ''Het Parool'' () is an Amsterdam-based daily newspaper. It was first published on 10 February 1941 as a resistance paper during the German occupation of the Netherlands (1940–1945). In English, its name means ''The Password'' or ''The Motto''. History Second World War The paper was preceded by a stenciled newsletter which was started in May 1940 by Frans Goedhart. FC Twente Vrouwen is the women's football (soccer) section of Dutch club FC Twente based in Enschede, and competes in the Vrouwen Eredivisie, the top women's league in the Netherlands.
