Tintenbar is a village located on the Far North Coast of New South Wales (in Australia). Administratively it is part of the Ballina Shire. It is located about or a 9-minute car drive north-west from Ballina along the Pacific Highway. Sydney, the state capital, is located approximately or 8.5 hours car drive south from Tintenbar. Over the past two decades the population of Tintenbar has increased dramatically. This has principally been the result of three large estates being constructed (Norfolk Park Estate, Oatley Park Estate, and Phoenix Park Estate). it has grown to 822 usual residents in an area of 21.7 kilometres2 - giving an average population density of 36 people per square kilometre. Ballina, New South Wales
Ballina () is a town in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, Australia, and the seat of the Ballina Shire local government area. Ballina's urban population at June 2018 was 26,381. The town lies on the Richmond River and serves as a gateway to Byron Bay. History Ballina is located on the ancestral land of the Bundjalung people, the original inhabitants. Tintenbar East Ballina Cricket Club
The Tintenbar- East Ballina Cricket Club is a club based in the Ballina district. With the establishment of the LJ Hooker League in 1994/95 the first-grade side now competes at a regional level, with the lower grades still playing in Ballina competition. Pacific Highway is a national highway and major transport route along the central east coast of Australia, with the majority of it being part of Australia's Highway 1. The highway and its adjoining Pacific Motorway between Brisbane and Brunswick Heads and Pacific Motorway between Sydney and Newcastle links the state capitals of Sydney in New South Wales with Brisbane in Queensland, approximately paralleling the Tasman Sea of the South Pacific Ocean coast, via Gosford, Newcastle, Taree, Port Macquarie, Kempsey, Coffs Harbour, Grafton, and Ballina. Nashua, New South Wales
Nashua is a former railway station and locality in the north-east of New South Wales, between Lismore and Byron Bay. Naming & Agriculture Originally called Springvale. However, James and John Toohey named their property Nashua, originally a tribe of New England American Indians, meaning ''"land between two rivers"'' or ''"river with the pebbled bottom".'' It is not well understood why the Irish brothers so named their property. The Tooheys planned to grow sugar cane at Nashua, however frost destroyed their crops. Today, the undulating countryside sustains dairy cattle, pecan nuts and other agriculture. The New South Wales government used the property name for the railway station, and the name has persisted to this day. Construction Nashua Hall was built in 1909 for £149 10/-, but blown down by a storm in 1942 and not rebuilt.
