Tinc (band)
Tinc (テインク in Katakana) was a visual kei rock band from Tokyo, Japan. Previously known as Shelly Trip Realize, the band formed on February 14, 2003 and were signed to the independent label Kreis Sequence Factory shortly after. Shelly Trip Realize left Kreis on October 17, 2006 and the band changed its name to Tinc on December 10, 2006. Tinc disbanded on April 20, 2008. Biography Shelly Trip Realize formed on February 14, 2003 with Sarino on vocals, Mai (舞) on guitar, Kikasa on bass, and Shion (紫音) on drums. They were quickly signed to Kreis Sequence Factory and performed live for the first time together on March 31 at the Shibuya AX. Shelly Trip Realize held their first solo concert or oneman live on May 18 at the Shinjuku LOFT, and sold a demonstration CD titled ''Lie!!'' at the event. Visual Kei
is a movement among Japanese musicians that is characterized by the use of varying levels of make-up, elaborate hair styles and flamboyant costumes, often, but not always, coupled with androgynous aesthetics, similar to Western glam rock. Some Western sources consider visual kei a music genre, with its sound usually related to glam rock, punk rock and heavy metal. However, visual kei acts play various genres, including those considered by some as unrelated to rock such as electronic, pop, etc. Other sources, including members of the movement themselves, state that it is not a music genre and that the freedom of expression, fashion, and participation in the related subculture is what exemplifies the use of the term. Rock Band
A rock band or pop band is a small musical ensemble that performs rock music, pop music, or a related genre. A four-piece band is the most common configuration in rock and pop music. Antic Cafe
was a Japanese pop rock band formed in 2003 and signed to Sony Music Japan. Their visual image is oshare kei,''Shoxx Bis'' No 3 October 2004 issue, pg 69 and they describe their music as " Harajuku Dance Rock". The group has released six full-length albums, two compilation albums, and four EPs. On September 1, 2009, the band announced that after their live show on January 4, 2010 at the Nippon Budokan, they would suspend activities and put the group on hiatus, however they stated they will not disband. In 2012, after a two-year break, the team announced the resumption of activities. In June 2018, the band announced the departure of all members but Miku and a hiatus beginning in January 2019. Oneman
Steven Bishop (born 1986), known professionally as Oneman, is a DJ and producer from Streatham, London. His background is in pirate radio and he is a regular DJ on Rinse FM. Oneman's DJ sets typically blend dubstep, hip hop, grime, UK funky and UK garage. He has released two mix albums with Fabriclive and Rinse FM as well as three self-released Solitaire mixtapes, one of which with Red Bull Studios. Career His love of music developed as a teenager in South London while listening to local pirate stations such as Rinse FM. Electric Guitar
An electric guitar is a guitar that requires external amplification in order to be heard at typical performance volumes, unlike a standard acoustic guitar (however combinations of the two - a semi-acoustic guitar and an electric acoustic guitar exist).
