Tina Dietze
Tina Dietze (born 25 January 1988) is a German sprint canoer who has competed since the late 2000s. She won the gold medal in K-2 (with Franziska Weber) and the silver medal in K-4 at the 2012 Olympic Games. Career She won 14 medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with five golds (K-1 4 x 200 m: 2010, K-4 200 m: 2009, K-2 200 m and K-2 500 m: 2013). In June 2015, she competed in the inaugural European Games, for Germany in canoe sprint, more specifically, in the Women's K-4 500m with Verena Hantl, Franziska Weber, and Conny Wassmuth. She earned a silver medal. The Canoe Sprint European Championships (or European Canoe Sprint Championships) is an international canoeing and kayaking event organized by the European Canoe Association (ECA). It was first held in 1933 in Prague under the auspices of the International Canoe Federation. In 1997, the European Championships were resumed, and now take place annually. At the 2019 European Games in Minsk, sixteen medal events in canoe sprint were contested between 25 and 27 June 2019, of which five are Canadian canoe events and eleven are kayak events. Canoe Sprint At The 2015 European Games
Canoeing was contested at the 2015 European Games between 14 and 16 June 2015. No canoe slalom events were held in Baku. A total of fifteen medal events were held, three for men only in canoe, and 12 events in kayak across both genders, all on flat water. Despite the sport being described in official literature as ''canoe sprint'', in line with Olympic practice, a canoe marathon, a 5000-metre non-Olympic event, was included for each gender. Qualification Each National Olympic Committee (NOC) is restricted to one boat per event, a maximum of fifteen boats, and therefore a maximum of 26 qualified athletes.
