Tin Hau Station
Tin Hau () is a station on the of the Hong Kong MTR rapid transit system. Location Like all other Island line stations, Tin Hau is located along the northern shore of Hong Kong Island. Named after the nearby Tin Hau Temple, the station is actually at the core of the Causeway Bay neighbourhood; however the station's presence has caused the surrounding area to be colloquially called "Tin Hau". The station lies to the east of Victoria Park, with the Citicorp Centre to the north. The Hong Kong Central Library and Lin Fa Kung Garden are to the south of the station, as is the Causeway Bay Sports Ground. Tin Hau, Hong Kong
Tin Hau () is an area in Wan Chai District, on the north side of Hong Kong Island, in Hong Kong. Tin Hau is not a formalised district in Hong Kong, but rather Causeway Bay proper. The colloquial name arose from Tin Hau station, so named due to its proximity to the Causeway Bay Tin Hau Temple; and as the use of the name Causeway Bay shifts eastwards due to Causeway Bay Tram Terminus and later Causeway Bay station. The term "Tin Hau" is also used to describe the location of places like Queen's College (beside Tin Hau MTR station) and the Central Library and the Causeway Bay Sports Ground which is located in the Wan Chai District. Island Line (MTR)
The Island line is one of eleven lines of the MTR, the mass transit system in Hong Kong. It runs from Kennedy Town in the Western district to Chai Wan in the Eastern District on Hong Kong Island, passing through the territory's major business districts of Central, Wan Chai and Causeway Bay, and connecting them with built-up areas on the north shore of the island. Hennessy Road
Hennessy Road () is a thoroughfare on Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. It connects Yee Wo Street on the east in Causeway Bay, at the junction with East Point Road, Jardine's Bazaar and Great George Street in East Point, through Bowrington, to Queensway on its western end in Wan Chai. It is a two-way road with two to three lanes of traffic on each side, which is shared by tram services. The road was built in the 20th century and is in length. Wanchai Tower
Wanchai Tower, located at 12 Harbour Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong, is home to the District Court and government offices. Neighbouring buildings include Immigration Tower, Revenue Tower and Shui On Centre. History The building sits on land reclaimed from Victoria Harbour in the late 1960s and early 1970s. As Hong Kong grew rapidly, the territory suffered from a shortage of courtrooms. The government and judiciary first discussed building a new courthouse on the land in 1978.
