Timur Oruz
Timur Oruz (born 27 October 1994) is a German field hockey player who plays as a midfielder or forward for Bundesliga club Rot-Weiss Köln. He played a total of 115 matches for the German national team from 2014 until 2023. International career Oruz represented his country at the 2016 Summer Olympics, where he won the bronze medal. On 28 May 2021, he was named in the squads for the 2021 EuroHockey Championship and the 2020 Summer Olympics. In February 2024 he announced his retirement from the national team. Club career Oruz started playing hockey at Crefelder HTC. In 2013 he left Crefelder HTC for Uhlenhorst Mülheim. After one season he returned to his club in Krefeld and in 2015 he moved to his current club Rot-Weiss Köln. He won his first Bundesliga title directly in his first season in 2016. Krefeld

2013 Men's Hockey Junior World Cup
The 2013 Men's Hockey Junior World Cup was the 10th edition of the Hockey Junior World Cup for men, an international field hockey tournament. It was held between 6–15 December 2013 in New Delhi, India. Germany won the tournament for the sixth time after defeating France 5–2 in the final, who participated in their first ever final in a top international event. The Netherlands won the third place match by defeating Malaysia 7–2. 2019–2021 Feldhockey-Bundesliga
The 2019–20 Bundesliga was the 78th season of the Bundesliga, Germany's premier field hockey league. It began on 7 September 2019 and it concluded with the championship final on 24 May 2019 in Mannheim. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the league was suspended on 13 March until 1 April 2020. The season returned on 2 September 2020 and was extended into 2021 with an extra round of matches. For the 2019–20 season, the German Hockey Federation introduced a new format. The league was played by twelve teams grouped in two pools of six (Pool A and Pool B) based on the previous season's ranking. The teams of the same pool competed 2 times and faced the teams of the other pool once. The first four of each pool were qualified for the play-offs and the last two of each pool played the play-downs. Uhlenhorst Mülheim are the two-time defending champions. The men's field hockey tournament at the 2020 Summer Olympics was the 24th edition of the field hockey event for men at the Summer Olympic Games. It was held from 24 July to 5 August 2021. All games were played at the Oi Hockey Stadium in Tokyo, Japan. It was originally scheduled to be held from 25 July to 6 August 2020, but on 24 March 2020, the Olympics were postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Men's Feldhockey Bundesliga
The Feldhockey Bundesliga is the top level of men's field hockey in Germany and is managed by the German Hockey Federation. The league currently ranks first in the men's European league rankings. It was established in 1937. Format The season starts in August or September and is interrupted by the indoor hockey season from November to March. From April the outdoor season will be continued. Since the 2011–12 season the league was played by twelve teams who played each other twice and who competed for four spots in the championship play-offs.
