Timothy Murray (soccer)
Tim Murray (born July 30, 1987) is an American soccer player. Honours Individual * Veikkausliiga Goalkeeper of the Year: 2020 * Veikkausliiga Team of the Year: 2020 Career College Murray attended St. John's Preparatory School in Danvers, Massachusetts, and played four years of college soccer at Providence College. He holds the Providence College record for most career shutouts, and helped the Friars reach the NCAA Tournament in 2006 and 2007. He played in 60 career college games, and compiled 201 saves. Murray also spent two seasons with the New Hampshire Phantoms of the USL Premier Development League. Professional Murray signed his first professional contract on April 29, 2010 when he signed with Major League Soccer team New England Revolution. Because of injuries to other keepers, he finished his rookie season second on the Revs' goalkeeper depth chart after starting preseason as the fourth goalkeeper in camp, but did not make a senior MLS appearance. Haverhill ( ) is a city in Essex County, Massachusetts, United States. Haverhill is located 35 miles north of Boston on the New Hampshire border and about 17 miles from the Atlantic Ocean. The population was 67,787 at the 2020 United States Census. Located on the Merrimack River, Haverhill began as a farming community of Puritans, largely from Newbury Plantation. The land was officially purchased from the Pentuckets on November 15, 1642 (One year after incorporation) for three pounds, and ten shillings. USL League One
USL League One (USL1) is a professional men's soccer league in the United States that had its inaugural season in 2019. The Division III league is operated by United Soccer League, the same group that operates the Division II USL Championship and other leagues. As of 2023, the league has 12 teams who play 30 regular season games, followed by playoffs. History The USL Championship was granted second division sanctioning by the United States Soccer Federation in January 2017, leaving the third tier of American soccer unoccupied. The Finnish football league system is a series of interconnected leagues for club football in Finland. Kakkonen
Kakkonen or II divisioona is the third level in the league system of Finnish football and comprises 36 Finnish football teams. The II divisioona was introduced in 1973 and in the mid-1990s became known as the Kakkonen (Finnish for 'Number Two'; sv, Tvåan). Sakari Tukiainen finished the season 2014 as the top goal scorer and setting a new league record with 40 goals for the Kakkonen. Petter Meyer finished the 2015 as the top goal scorer for GrIFK with 23 goals. 2012 MLS Re-Entry Draft
The two-stage 2012 MLS Re-Entry Draft took place on December 7, 2012 (Stage 1) and December 14, 2012 (Stage 2). All 19 Major League Soccer clubs were eligible to participate. The Stage 1 and Stage 2 Drafts were conducted in the same order as the traditional Waiver Draft, with clubs choosing in reverse order of their 2012 Major League Soccer season finish.
