Axel Timmermann is a German climate physicist and oceanographer with an interest in climate dynamics, human migration, dynamical systems' analysis, ice-sheet modeling and sea level. Adam Larry Timmerman (born August 14, 1971) is a former American football guard in the National Football League, and Super Bowl champion for the St. Louis Rams and Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers and St. Louis Rams between 1995 and 2006. USS ''Timmerman'' (DD-828/EDD-828/AG-152) was a in service with the United States Navy from 1952 to 1956. She was an experimental design and was scrapped in 1959. Design ''Timmerman'' was originally planned as a ''Gearing''-class destroyer in the United States Navy. Work was temporarily suspended on 7 January 1946 at 45.5% completion. She was later completed as an experimental destroyer, EDD-828.
