''Time's Up'' is the second and final studio album by American rapper K-Solo. It was released on June 2, 1992 via Atlantic Records. Production was handled by Sam Sneed, EPMD, Pete Rock and K-Solo. The album peaked at number 135 on the ''Billboard'' 200, at number 36 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and at number 3 on the Heatseekers Albums in the United States. K-Solo
Kevin Madison, also known as K-Solo (born April 17, 1968) is an American rapper from Brentwood, New York who, along with Redman, EPMD, Das EFX, and Keith Murray, was part of the Hit Squad in the 1990s. Career K-Solo was a member of EPMD's "Hit Squad", featuring on the group's hit '' Head Banger''. His biggest solo hits were "Your Mom's in My Business" and "Spellbound." The rapper later accused DMX of stealing this style when the two were serving time in the same jail. DMX has disputed whether K-Solo developed this style during the 16 months he served in Riverhead Correctional Facility after being convicted of assault in the 1980s or during a later stay in Suffolk jail. In the mid-1990s he signed with Death Row Records and almost signed to Death Row East after hooking up with them in a Pittsburgh concert show. EPMD
EPMD is an American hip hop duo from Brentwood, New York. The duo's name is a concatenation of the members' names "E" and "PMD" or an acronym for "Erick and Parrish Making Dollars", referring to its members: emcees Erick Sermon ("E" a.k.a. E Double) and Parrish Smith ("PMD" a.k.a. Parrish Mic Doc). During an interview on college radio station WHOV in 1987, Parrish Smith stated that the name evolved from the original: "We were originally known as "EEPMD" (Easy Erick and Parrish the Microphone Doctor), but chose to go with EPMD because it was easier to say."
