Tim Price (writer)
Tim Price is a Welsh screenwriter and playwright. He created the Welsh crime drama ''Y Pris'', which ran for two series on S4C, and the fantasy series ''Switch''. Career Price worked as a journalist and designer on weekly newspapers, like the ''Pontypridd Observer''. Price's stage plays include ''Salt, Root and Roe'' (nominated for an Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in an affiliate theatre), about two sisters who make a suicide pact, ''I'm With the Band'', about an indie band, and his commission for the second season of the National Theatre Wales tour, ''The Radicalisation of Bradley Manning'' (winner of the James Tait Black Award best play). He also wrote the biographical play ''Praxis Makes Perfect'', about Italian communist Giangiacomo Feltrinelli. He has had work performed at the Barbican, Traverse Theatre, Pentabus Theatre and the Royal Court. Y Pris
''Y Pris'' (English: ''The Price'') is a Welsh television crime drama, produced by Fiction Factory for Welsh public service television station S4C. The series, described in its tagline as "''The Sopranos'' by the seaside", is set in Carmarthenshire and follows the "tangled lives of a group of gangsters who hide their illicit dealings". The series was written and created by Tim Price. The first series comprises thirteen episodes. It was filmed in March and April 2007. The second series, comprising eight episodes, was commissioned by S4C in 2008 and filmed later the same year for broadcast in 2009. The series is, together with ''Caerdydd'', ''Cowbois ac Injans'', and ''Con Passionate'', part of S4C's drama editor Angharad Jones' drive to reach a younger audience for the station. The series' theme was written and recorded by Alabama 3 lead singer Rob Love. All twenty-one episodes are available to stream on S4C's website. Jay Pharaoh
Jared Antonio Farrow (born October 14, 1987), better known by his stage name Jay Pharoah, is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and impressionist. Pharoah was a cast member on NBC's sketch comedy series ''Saturday Night Live'' from 2010 to 2016. In 2015, he was ranked the 55th greatest ''Saturday Night Live'' cast member by ''Rolling Stone'' magazine. Early life Pharoah was born and raised in Chesapeake, Virginia. He began performing impersonations at age six and cites Gilbert Gottfried's character Iago in ''Aladdin'' as his first voice, explaining, "My father put me in a talent competition a couple of months later, and out of the whole thing I got fifth place."
