Tim Membrey
Tim Membrey (born 26 May 1994) is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the St Kilda Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Playing career Early career Membery grew up in Traralgon and attended St Gabriel's Primary School. Membrey participated in the Auskick program at Traralgon, he played junior football for Traralgon Football Club and was Captain of the Gippsland Power. Membrey would play against future St Kilda teammate Jack Billings in the under 18 Grand Final, where Billings' Oakleigh Chargers won by a point. Sydney Swans (2013–2014) He was drafted to the Sydney Swans with the 46th pick in 2012 AFL Draft. Membrey was mentored by dual Brownlow Medalist Adam Goodes while at the Swans. Essendon Football Club
The Essendon Football Club, nicknamed the Bombers, is a professional Australian rules football club. The club plays in the Australian Football League (AFL), the game's premier competition. The club was formed by the McCracken family in their Ascot Vale, Victoria, Ascot Vale home "Alisa", and while the exact date is unknown, it is generally accepted to have been in 1872. The club’s first recorded game took place on 7 June 1873 against a Carlton Second 20. 2016 AFL Season
The 2016 AFL season was the 120th season of the Australian Football League (AFL), the highest level senior Australian rules football competition in Australia, which was known as the Victorian Football League until 1989. Trevor Barker Award
The Trevor Barker Award is an Australian rules football award for the player voted the St Kilda Football Club best and fairest player during the home and away season in the Australian Football League by a voting panel. The St Kilda Best & Fairest Award was first inaugurated in 1914. It was re-named the Trevor Barker Award in the 1990's, in honour of St Kilda Hall of Fame Legend, Australian Football Hall of Fame Inductee, Club Captain, dual Best & Fairest Winner and Reserves Coach, Trevor Barker, who died in 1996 aged 39. Nick Riewoldt has won the most awards with six between 2002 and 2014. The voting system as of the 2017 AFL season, consists of five coaches giving players a ranking from one to four after each match. Dougal Howard
Dougal Howard (born 25 March 1996) is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the St Kilda Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Formerly playing for Port Adelaide, which recruited him with pick 56 in the 2014 national draft, he was traded to St Kilda at the end of the 2019 season. Howard is currently the Saints' vice-captain. John Longmire
John Longmire (born 31 December 1970) is the current coach of the Sydney Swans. As a player, he represented the North Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL) from 1988 to 1999. Early years Longmire was born in Corowa, New South Wales. He took up Australian rules as a child and first came into notice when he won the 1984 Thirds goal kicking award in the Coreen & District Football League with Corowa-Rutherglen.
