Tim Kirkby
Timothy John Kirkby (born 13 November 1970 in Sidcup, Kent, England) is a British filmmaker, working in both the United Kingdom and the United States. He is best known for directing the science parody series ''Look Around You'' , the BAFTA winning BBC 2 show ''Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle'', and setting up the multi-award winning ''Fleabag''. Career Kirkby made his TV directorial debut with the BAFTA nominated science spoof ''Look Around You''. He received further recognition for the first season of the BAFTA nominated ''My Mad Fat Diary'', the BAFTA nominated BBC single drama ''The C Word'', and more recently the critically acclaimed ''Fleabag''. In the United States he created and directed all eight episodes and co-executive produced the award-winning first & second season of ''Brockmire'' for IFC. Sidcup is an area of south-east London, England, primarily in the London Borough of Bexley. It is south-east of Charing Cross, bordering the London Boroughs of Bromley and Greenwich. Before the creation of Greater London in 1965, it was in the historical county of Kent. The name is thought to be derived from meaning "seat shaped or flat topped hill"; it had its earliest recorded use in 1254. The population of Sidcup, including its neighbourhoods Foots Cray, North Cray, Albany Park, Longlands, Ruxley, Blackfen and Lamorbey, was 43,109 in 2011. Armando Iannucci
Armando Giovanni Iannucci (; born 28 November 1963) is a Scottish satirist, writer, director, producer, performer, and panellist. Born in Glasgow to Italian parents, Iannucci studied at the University of Glasgow followed by the University of Oxford. Starting on BBC Scotland and BBC Radio 4, his early work with Chris Morris on the radio series '' On the Hour'' transferred to television as ''The Day Today''.
