Tim Kennelly
Tim Kennelly (6 July 1954 – 6 December 2005) was Irish Gaelic footballer. His league and championship career at senior level with the Kerry county team spanned ten years from 1974 to 1984. Born just outside Listowel, County Kerry, Kennelly played competitive Gaelic football in his youth. He came to prominence with the Listowel Emmets club, winning two divisional junior championship medals as well as a county junior championship medal in 1972. Kennelly was a regular on the Feale Rangers divisional team over a ten-year period, and won two county senior championship medals. Kennelly made his debut on the inter-county scene at the age of seventeen when he was picked on the Kerry minor team. He had two championship seasons with the minor team, however, he was a Munster runner-up on both occasions. Cork GAA
The Cork County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) ( ga, Cumann Luthchleas Gael Coiste Contae Chorcaí) or Cork GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in County Cork and the Cork county teams. It is one of the constituent counties of Munster GAA. Cork is one of the few dual counties in Ireland, competing in a similar level in both football and hurling. The Kerry County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA), or Kerry GAA, is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland. Austin Stacks GAA
Austin Stacks is a hurling and Gaelic football club based in Tralee in County Kerry, Ireland. Founded in 1917, the club has more All-Ireland Senior Football Championship medals and GAA All-Stars than any other Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) club in Ireland. Mid Kerry GAA
Mid Kerry is one of the divisions of Kerry Gaelic Athletic Association. It organizes Gaelic football and hurling competitions for the clubs within the division and fields teams in county competitions. The division is based around the town of Killorglin and neighbouring parishes. The division was created in 1947 when Laune Rangers, Castlemaine, Milltown, Tuogh, Glenbeigh and Beaufort broke away from the East Kerry division to create their own competitions. North Kerry Senior Football Championship
The North Kerry Senior Football Championship is a Gaelic football competition for GAA clubs affiliated to the North Kerry Division of Kerry. The official name of the competition is The Bernard O'Callaghan Memorial North Kerry Senior Football Championship, in honour of the late Bernie O'Callaghan (Beale) who was Chairman of the North Kerry GAA Board for 25 years (1974 to 1998) and did a huge amount of work for North Kerry football. The Championship runs from October to December each year but has on occasion continued into the New Year due to replays and postponements. Fourteen clubs are eligible to play in the Championship: Asdee, Ballydonoghue, Ballyduff, Ballylongford, Beale, Brosna, Castleisland Desmonds, Duagh, Finuge, Knocknagoshel, Listowel Emmets, Moyvane, St. Senan's and Tarbert. GAA GPA All Stars Awards
The Gaelic Athletic Association-Gaelic Players' Association All Stars Awards (often known simply as the All Stars) are awarded annually to the best player in each of the 15 playing positions in Gaelic football and hurling. Additionally, one player in each code is selected as Player of the Year. The awards were instituted in 1971. Since 2011 they have been presented jointly by the Gaelic Athletic Association and the representative body for inter-county players, the Gaelic Players Association. Each player who receives a nomination is given a medallion marking the milestone. It is considered "the most coveted sporting award scheme in the country". Australian football, also called Australian rules football or Aussie rules, or more simply football or footy, is a contact sport played between two teams of 18 players on an oval field, often a modified cricket ground. Points are scored by kicking the oval ball between the central goal posts (worth six points), or between a central and outer post (worth one point, otherwise known as a "behind"). The Sydney Swans are a professional Australian rules football club based in Sydney, New South Wales. The Australian Football League (AFL) is the only fully professional sports, professional competition of Australian rules football. Through the AFL Commission, the AFL also serves as the sport's governing body and is responsible for controlling the Laws of Australian football, laws of the game.
