Tilleda is an unincorporated census-designated place in the town of Seneca in Shawano County, Wisconsin, United States. The community is located on County Highway A less than one mile (one kilometer) north of Wisconsin Highway 29. The community uses the 54978 ZIP code. As of the 2010 census, its population is 91. Tilleda pond on the Embarrass River is used for ice racing in January and February by thTilleda Thunderprogram. Tilleda may have been founded by German immigrants from the village of Tilleda (Kyffhaeuser) in central Germany. Wolverine Fire Apparatus (blue buildings shown in pictures) is the largest employer in Tilleda. The Köppen climate classification is one of the most widely used climate classification systems. It was first published by German-Russian climatologist Wladimir Köppen (1846–1940) in 1884, with several later modifications by Köppen, notably in 1918 and 1936. Tilleda (Kyffhaeuser)
Tilleda is a village and a former municipality in the Mansfeld-Südharz district, in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt. Since 1 July 2009, it has been part of the town Kelbra. Tilleda is located at the northern rim of the Kyffhäuser mountain range with the Kyffhäuser Monument, located in neighbouring Thuringia. The population is about 900. Tilleda is notable mainly for having been the site of a medieval Royal palace or '' Pfalz'' which has been partially excavated and reconstructed. Ice racing is a form of racing that uses cars, motorcycles, snowmobiles, all-terrain vehicles, or other motorized vehicles. Ice racing takes place on frozen lakes or rivers, or on groomed frozen lots. State Trunk Highway 29 (often called Highway 29, STH-29 or WIS 29) is a state highway running east–west across central Wisconsin. It is a major east–west corridor connecting the Twin Cities and the Chippewa Valley with Wausau and Green Bay. A multi-year project to upgrade the corridor to a four-lane freeway or expressway from Elk Mound to Green Bay was completed in 2005. The Geographic Names Information System (GNIS) is a database of name and locative information about more than two million physical and cultural features throughout the United States and its territories, Antarctica, and the associated states of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, and Palau.
