Tianjin North Railway Station
Tianjin North railway station is a station in Hebei District, Tianjin on the Tianjin–Shanhaiguan Railway. The station opened in 1903 and was closed for renovation between April 1, 2014 to April 30, 2015 and reopened accepting regional rail services to Jizhou. The Beijing–Tianjin intercity railway passes beside the station but does not stop in it. Connections are available to Tianjin Metro Line 3 and Line 6 via Beizhan Station. Hebei District
Hebei District () is a district of the municipality of Tianjin, People's Republic of China. Its name literally means "District north of the River", as the district is located on the northern shore of the Hai River, part of the Grand Canal. Tianjin's famous Zhongshan Park lies within the district. Tianjin's North Train Station and many other train structures are also located in Hebei District. Regional rail, also known as local trains and stopping trains, are passenger rail services that operate between towns and cities. These trains operate with more stops over shorter distances than inter-city rail, but fewer stops and faster service than commuter rail. Regional rail services operate beyond the limits of urban areas, and either connect similarly-sized smaller cities and towns, or cities and surrounding towns, outside or at the outer rim of a suburban belt. Regional rail normally operates with an even service load throughout the day, although slightly increased services may be provided during rush-hour. Jizhou District (), formerly a county known as Ji County, is a district in the far north of the municipality of Tianjin, People's Republic of China, holding cultural and historical significance (''e.g''., the Buddhist Temple of Solitary Joy). Beijing–Tianjin Intercity Railway
The Beijing–Tianjin intercity railway () is a Chinese high-speed railway that runs 117 km line (72.7 statute miles) between Beijing and Tianjin. Designed for passenger traffic only, the Chinese government built the line to accommodate trains traveling at a maximum speed of , and currently carries CRH high-speed trains running speeds up to since August 2018. Line 6, Tianjin Metro
Line 6 of the Tianjin Metro () is a rapid transit line running semi-circular from north-east to south-east Tianjin. It was opened on 6 August 2016. The line was later extended on 31 December 2016 and on 26 April 2018. The line is currently 42.6 km long and has 38 stations.
