Tiago Volpi
Tiago Luis Volpi (born 19 December 1990) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Liga MX club Toluca. Career Early career Volpi started his career at Fluminense in 2008, before moving to São José a year later, he was loaned to Luverdense in 2011. Querétaro On 20 December 2014, Volpi was signed by Mexican club Querétaro. On 16 January 2015, Volpi made his officially debut with Querétaro against Leones Negros UdeG, Gallos Blancos won 1-0. Estadio Corregidora is a stadium in Querétaro City, Mexico. Named for Mexican War of Independence heroine Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez ("La Corregidora"), it has a capacity of 33,162 and is located on the outskirts of the city of Querétaro, north of Mexico City. The 2022–23 Liga MX season (known as the Liga BBVA MX for sponsorship reasons) is the 76th professional season of the top-flight football league in Mexico. The season will be divided into two championships—the Apertura 2022 and the Clausura 2023—each in an identical format and each contested by the same eighteen teams. Penalty Kick (association Football)
A penalty kick (commonly known as a penalty or a spot kick) is a method of restarting play in association football, in which a player is allowed to take a single shot at the goal while it is defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. It is awarded when an offence punishable by a direct free kick is committed by a player in their own penalty area. The shot is taken from the penalty mark, which is 11 m (12 yards) from the goal line and centred between the touch lines. Apertura 2022 Liga MX Final Phase
The Apertura 2022 Liga MX final phase was played between 8 October and 30 October 2022. A total of twelve teams competed in the final phase to decide the champions of the Apertura 2022 Liga MX season. For the fifth straight season, an additional qualifying round, the reclassification or ''repechaje'', was employed, which expanded the number of playoff spots to twelve. Both finalists qualified for the 2024 CONCACAF Champions Cup. Due to the 2022 FIFA World Cup being held in November and December, the Apertura 2022 regular season and final phase began earlier than previous seasons. The Estadio Nemesio Díez (Nemesio Diez Stadium), nicknamed "La Bombonera" (The Chocolate Box) due to its shape, is one of the oldest football stadiums in Mexico. Club Santos Laguna S.A. de C.V. (), commonly known as Santos Laguna or Santos, is a Mexican professional football club that competes in the Liga MX.
