Threshold Podcast
''Threshold'' is a Peabody Award-winning podcast and radio show that tackles one pressing environmental story each season. The podcast explores the intersections of environment, history, culture, science, politics and social justice, focusing on the human relationships with the natural world. As of January 2021, Threshold has released three seasons, as well as an interview-based podcast series called Threshold Conversations. The fourth season is to be released on 1 February 2022. Executive producer and host of Threshold, Amy Martin, had a 2016 Scripps Fellowship in Environmental Journalism at the University of Colorado Boulder, University of Colorado, Boulder. Peabody Award
The George Foster Peabody Awards (or simply Peabody Awards or the Peabodys) program, named for the American businessman and philanthropist George Peabody, honor the most powerful, enlightening, and invigorating stories in television, radio, and online media. The awards were conceived by the National Association of Broadcasters in 1938 as the radio industry’s equivalent of the Pulitzer Prizes. Programs are recognized in seven categories: news, entertainment, documentaries, children's programming, education, interactive programming, and public service. Peabody Award winners include radio and television stations, networks, online media, producing organizations, and individuals from around the world.
