''Three Men and a Baby'' is a collaborative studio album by Mike Kunka and American rock band Melvins, released on April 1, 2016 through Sub Pop. The album was mostly recorded in 1999 by Tim Green, but further production was delayed for over a decade. It was finished in 2015 with longtime Melvins associate Toshi Kasai engineering and mixing. Mike Kunka
Mike Kunka is an American bass guitarist best known as a member of the drone metal group godheadSilo. He has also been a member of the groups Dead Low Tide and Enemymine, both based out of Washington state. Biography Michael Andrew Kunka founded godheadSilo in 1991 with Phil Leitch on guitar and Dan Haugh on drums. Leitch departed from the band after their first show, leaving Kunka and Haugh to continue performing as a duo. After relocating to Olympia they recorded and released their debut '' The Scientific Supercake L.P.'' in 1994 for indie label Kill Rock Stars. After releasing two more albums, ''Skyward in Triumph'' in 1996 and ''Share the Fantasy'' in 1998, the band went on hiatus so its member could pursue other projects. Melvins (sometimes The Melvins) are an American rock band formed in 1983 in Montesano, Washington. Their early work was key to the development of both grunge and sludge metal. Initially, they performed as a trio but later also sometimes appeared as a quartet, with either two drummers or two bassists. Mackie Osborne is an American artist responsible for the design and illustrations of many music albums since the 1980s. She is a member of the band Fleabag and has contributed to many albums on packaging artwork, layout design and art direction. Being the wife of Melvins frontman Buzz Osborne, she also designed the artwork for most of the band's albums since 1994. Kevin Rutmanis
Kevin Rutmanis (born October 17, 1958) is an American bass guitarist. He is of Latvian descent. Before getting into music, he was a student teacher. In late 1985, along with his younger brother Sandris Rutmanis, Thor Eisentrager, and then Jayhawks drummer Norm Rogers, he started the band The Cows. After the dissolution of The Cows, Rutmanis was the bass guitar player for The Melvins from 1998 to 2005. He was also the bass guitarist in the supergroup Tomahawk featuring Mike Patton. Kevin played bass on Tomahawk's first two long play releases, titled ''Tomahawk'' and ''Mit Gas'', and played for two world tours supporting those albums. He has since recorded with Hepa-Titus. Roger "Buzz" Osborne (born March 25, 1964), also known as King Buzzo, is an American guitarist, vocalist and songwriter. He is a founding member of the rock band Melvins, as well as Fantômas and Venomous Concept. Biography Born in Morton, Washington, Osborne is of English, Italian and Jewish descent. He moved to Montesano, Washington at the age of 12. He first started listening to the music of Aerosmith and Ted Nugent, then became greatly interested in punk rock after a few years. In the early 1980s, Osborne founded the Melvins with Matt Lukin and Mike Dillard who all attended Montesano High School (Wheeler Building) where he graduated in 1982. Dale Crover (born October 23, 1967) is an American rock musician. Crover is best known as the drummer for Melvins and has also been the drummer for Men of Porn, Shrinebuilder, Crystal Fairy and, for a brief time, Nirvana. He is also guitarist and vocalist for Altamont. He has toured with Fantômas (filling in for Dave Lombardo), Off!, and Redd Kross. Public Image Ltd (abbreviated and stylized as PiL) are an English post-punk band (and incorporated limited company) formed by singer John Lydon (previously known as the singer of Sex Pistols), guitarist Keith Levene, bassist Jah Wobble, and drummer Jim Walker in May 1978. The group's personnel has changed frequently over the years; Lydon has been the sole constant member. John Joseph Lydon (; born 31 January 1956), also known by his former stage name Johnny Rotten, is an English singer and songwriter. He was the lead singer of the late-1970s punk band the Sex Pistols, which lasted from 1975 until 1978, and again for various revivals during the 1990s and 2000s.
