"Thoughtless" is a song written by American nu metal band Korn for their fifth studio album, '' Untouchables''. "Thoughtless" was released as the album's second single in July 2002. The single charted at 11 on the US Alternative chart, and at 37 on the UK main chart. Background Jonathan Davis, the vocalist of Korn, said that "Thoughtless" is "a song about people who are constantly ridiculed and the collateral damage it can cause". Live performance This song was introduced to fans during a live show at the Hammerstein Ballroom, in New York City on June 10, 2002, which celebrated the release of ''Untouchables''. This performance appears on the DVD release entitled '' Live''. "Thoughtless" has been played during the ''Untouchables'' promotional tour, in 2002, but it was scrapped from the band's setlist one year later. Korn
Korn (stylized as KoЯn, or occasionally KoRn) is an American nu metal band from Bakersfield, California, formed in 1993. The band is notable for pioneering the nu metal genre and bringing it into the mainstream. The Canadian Singles Chart was a chart compiled by the American-based music sales tracking company, Nielsen SoundScan, which began publication in November 1996. It was published every Wednesday and also published on Thursday by '' Jam!''/Canoe. It was superseded by the '' Billboard''-published Canadian Hot 100 in 2007. Mindless Self Indulgence (often referred to as MSI) is an American electropunk band formed in New York City in 1997. Their music has a mixed style which includes punk rock, alternative rock, electronica, techno, industrial, hip hop, and breakbeat hardcore. History Between 1987 and 1996, Jimmy Urine recorded about 35 songs which varied in musical style, usually settling in an industrial/electronic punk style. These songs were recorded with himself and his brother, Markus Euringer in New York City using rudimentary equipment. Urine and his brother released an album titled ''Mindless Self-Indulgence'', featuring Steve, Righ?, on 'Bed of Roses', which featured songs performed in an industrial style akin to Nine Inch Nails. Their first live concert was on September 7th, 1995 during the self-titled album era. Zach Sciacca (born July 22, 1971), better known as DJ Z-Trip, is an American DJ and producer. He is a pioneer of the mashup movement. He was the 2009 recipient of the "America's Best DJ Award". ''Anywhere but Home'' is the first live album and concert DVD release by American rock band Evanescence. It was released on November 23, 2004, by Wind-up Records. It includes a recording of a concert at Le Zénith in Paris, an hour of behind the scenes footage, three previous-unreleased songs, and all four of their ''Fallen'' music videos. Background ''Anywhere but Home'' was filmed during Evanescence's concert at Le Zénith in Paris on May 25, 2004. The tour supported their debut album ''Fallen'' (2003) and every song from that album except "Hello" was performed at that show. Three new songs were released on ''Anywhere but Home'': "Missing", "Breathe No More" (which was featured on the soundtrack to the 2005 film '' Elektra''), and "Farther Away".
