Thorn (comics)
Rose and Thorn are the two personalities of two characters (one in the Golden Age of Comics, Golden Age and one in the Silver Age of Comics, Silver Age) within publication of DC Comics. Before the ''Crisis on Infinite Earths'', Rose Canton came from Earth-Two and Rose Forrest from Earth-One of the Multiverse (DC Comics), Multiverse. Fictional character biography Rose Canton Thorn (Rose Canton) is a woman with a split personality whose villainous personality has the ability to control plants. Initially, she and her hired thugs opposed Jay Garrick, the Flash. After being (apparently) cured of her Thorn persona, Rose married Alan Scott and had two children, Jade (comics), Jennie-Lynn Hayden and Obsidian (comics), Todd James Rice by him. After a resurgence of her madness, she left Scott and put her children up for adoption, then went into seclusion for many years. The Golden Age of Comic Books describes an era of American comic books from 1938 to 1956. During this time, modern comic books were first published and rapidly increased in popularity. The superhero archetype was created and many well-known characters were introduced, including Superman, Batman, Robin (character), Robin, Captain Marvel (DC Comics), Captain Marvel, Captain America, and Wonder Woman. Infinity, Inc
Infinity, Inc. is a team of superheroes appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The first incarnation is mostly composed of the children and heirs of the Justice Society of America (JSA), making them the Society's analogue to the Teen Titans. Created by Roy Thomas, Jerry Ordway, and Mike Machlan, Infinity, Inc. first appears in ''All-Star Squadron'' #25 (September 1983). There is also an eponymous comics series starring the group that ran from March 1984 through June 1988. The second incarnation was formed by Lex Luthor. The third incarnation was formed by Steel. Robert "Bob" Kanigher (; June 18, 1915 – May 7, 2002)Social Security Death Index, social security #116-07-5117. was an American comic book writer and editor whose career spanned five decades. He was involved with the Wonder Woman franchise for over twenty years, taking over the scripting from creator William Moulton Marston. Neil Googe is a British comics artist. Biography Googe's early comics work include a ''Shotgun Mary'' mini-series and work on '' 2000 AD'', including a number of ''Judge Dredd'' stories. In 1999, Googe was hired as the artist for a graphic novel adaptation of Konami's Silent Hill, which had been released in early 1999. The novel was scheduled for release in November 1999. Despite being completed, advertised, and even receiving an ISBN code, the novel never got published due to disputes with Konami and it's European branch, with only four screenshots of the novel remaining.
