Thomas "Tom" McNulty (30 December 1929 – April 1979) was an English football player. He was born in Salford, Greater Manchester. McNulty started his senior career with Manchester United in 1949 and made his debut with the senior team in a home fixture against Portsmouth on 15 April 1950. The City of Salford () is a metropolitan borough within Greater Manchester, England. The borough is named after its main settlement, Salford. Football League First Division
The Football League First Division was a division of the Football League in England from 1888 until 2004. It was the top division in the English football league system from the season 1888–89 until 1991–92, a century in which the First Division's winning club became English men's football champions. The First Division contained between 12 and 24 clubs, playing each other home and away in a double round robin. The competition was based on two points for a win from 1888 until the increase to three points for a win in 1981.
