Thomas Kretschmann
Thomas Kretschmann (; born 8 September 1962) is a German actor who has appeared in many European and American films. His notable roles include Lieutenant Hans von Witzland in '' Stalingrad'' (1993), Hauptmann Wilm Hosenfeld in '' The Pianist'' (2002), Hermann Fegelein in '' Downfall'' (2004), Captain Englehorn in ''King Kong'' (2005), Major Otto Remer in ''Valkyrie'' (2008), the voice of Professor Z in '' Cars 2'' (2011), and as the journalist Jürgen Hinzpeter in ''A Taxi Driver'' (2017). He also portrayed Baron Wolfgang von Strucker in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films '' Captain America: The Winter Soldier'' (2014) and '' Avengers: Age of Ultron'' (2015). 62nd Berlin International Film Festival
The 62nd annual Berlin International Film Festival was held from 9 to 19 February 2012. British film director Mike Leigh was the President of the Jury. The first five films to be screened in the competition were announced on 19 December 2011. American actress Meryl Streep was presented with the Honorary Golden Bear on 14 February. The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is an American media franchise and shared universe centered on a series of superhero films produced by Marvel Studios. The (, "Armed SS") was the combat branch of the Nazi Party's ''Schutzstaffel'' (SS) organisation. ''The Stendhal Syndrome'' ''(Ital. La Sindrome di Stendhal)'' is a 1996 Italian Giallo film written and directed by Dario Argento and starring his daughter Asia Argento, with Thomas Kretschmann and Marco Leonardi. Westler
''Westler'' is a 1985 film originally produced for West German television and later released in cinema. It was directed by Wieland Speck and broadcast on ZDF. Synopsis Felix is visited in West Berlin by an American friend from Los Angeles. The two make a day trip to East Berlin where they meet Thomas. Thomas and Felix fall in love but are divided by the Wall, much like all of Germany at the time. The Nika Award (sometimes styled NIKA Award) is the main annual national film award in Russia, presented by the Russian Academy of Cinema Arts and Science, and seen as the national equivalent of the Oscars. The European Film Awards (or European Film Academy Awards) have been presented annually since 1988 by the European Film Academy to recognize excellence in European cinematic achievements.
