Thomas Mackenzie Bell (born 22 February 1985), better known by the stage name of Toddla T, is an English DJ, record producer, remixer and songwriter from Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Biography Bell was raised in Sheffield where he attended King Edward VII School. He started DJing at the age of 14 in the clubs and bars of Sheffield and by the age of 16 had left school to pursue a full-time career in the music industry. His stage name was given to him by the older Sheffield DJs who influenced him and was used to indicate his relative youth. He has two children with his wife, fellow BBC Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac: a son, born in May 2013; and a second child, born 6 January 2017. Bell is a fan of Sheffield United F.C. Thomas Bell (minister)
Thomas Bell (1733–1802) was a Scottish minister, known as a theologian and translator. Life Bell was born at Moffat on 24 December 1733, and attended the parish school there. He was sent to the University of Edinburgh while still young, completed the course and continued theological studies at the university. Instead of seeking license from the Church of Scotland, Bell applied to the Presbytery of Relief, founded by Thomas Gillespie in 1761. He was licensed in 1767, and the same year was settled as minister of the Relief congregation at Jedburgh, as successor to Thomas Boston the younger; he remained there for ten years. In 1777 he was translated to a large congregation of the Relief church in Glasgow. This move was without the consent of the Relief Synod, and three years passed before a rupture was resolved. Losh, Wilson and Bell, later Bells, Goodman, then Bells, Lightfoot and finally Bell Brothers, was a leading Northeast England manufacturing company, founded in 1809 by the partners William Losh, Thomas Wilson, and Thomas Bell. The firm was founded at Newcastle-upon-Tyne with an ironworks and an alkali works nearby at Walker. The alkali works was the first in England to make soda using the Leblanc process; the ironworks was the first to use Cleveland Ironstone, presaging the 1850s boom in ironmaking on Teesside. The so-called discoverer of Cleveland Ironstone, the mining engineer John Vaughan, ran a rolling mill for the company before leaving to found the major rival firm Bolckow Vaughan. Tommy Bell (March 13, 1923 – July 14, 1994) was an African-American boxer. As a professional, he faced legendary fighters such as Jake LaMotta, Fritzie Zivic, and Kid Gavilán. Bell fought for the welterweight title against Sugar Ray Robinson in 1946. Early years Bell was born in Ogelthorpe, Georgia, a son of Shed and Bessie Howard Bell. When he was still a child, his family relocated to Youngstown, Ohio, a steel-production center near the Pennsylvania border. Tommy Bell (born 11 November 1992) is an English rugby union player who plays for Benetton. He began his career with Sale Sharks in the Aviva Premiership, but moved to London Wasps for the 2012/2013 season, playing alongside his brother Chris Bell. On 6 June 2014, Bell made his move to the RFU Championship as he signed a contract with Jersey. However, after a month with Jersey, Bell was granted early release from his contract since a top flight club made an approach to him where he would officially move to Leicester Tigers. Thomas James Bell (July 10, 1932 – August 14, 2019) was an American football player. He played for the Army Cadets football teams from 1950 to 1954 and was the first Army player to rush for 1,000 yards in a season. He was selected as a first-team halfback on the 1954 All-America college football team. Early years Bell was born in 1932 in The Bronx, the son of Irish immigrants. He was a star football player at the Mount Saint Michael Academy, a Catholic high school in the Wakefield neighborhood of The Bronx. He was recruited by Vince Lombardi to play football at the United States Military Academy. Army football Bell attended the United States Military Academy and played college football at the halfback position for the Army Cadets football team from 1950 to 1954. Tommy Bell (July 2, 1922 – February 20, 1986) was an American football official in the National Football League (NFL) and was regarded as "one of the NFL's most respected referees". When he joined the NFL as an official in 1962 from the Southeastern Conference, he was given the referee position, and stayed at that spot until his retirement in 1976. He officiated Super Bowl III in 1969 and Super Bowl VII in 1973. He is also the only official in history to referee in both a Super Bowl and NCAA Final Four (1959). He retired from the NFL following the 1976 AFC Championship Game between the Oakland Raiders and Pittsburgh Steelers, played December 26, 1976, to conclude a fifteen-year career in the league. Thomas Bell (born 13 June 1991) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for Carlton and Brisbane Lions in the Australian Football League (AFL). Early life Born and raised in Brisbane, Bell played soccer as a youth before being introduced to Australian rules football at age 12. Thomas Anthony Peter Bell (30 December 1923 – 21 November 1988) was an English professional footballer. A left-back, he played in 318 Football League matches for three clubs, most notably for hometown club Oldham Athletic. Bell features, along with his son Graham, amongst 'The Legends of Oldham Athletic'. Career Born in Crompton near Oldham, Bell signed for Mossley from Glossop in 1946. Playing as a right-back, his performances during his 16 matches led to him signing for Third Division North club Oldham Athletic in late 1946. The fee of £550 was a record for a Mossley player. Bell made his Oldham debut in their 1946–47 FA Cup second-round defeat by Doncaster Rovers on 14 December 1946.
